| Houston YTr's!! The Yorkshire Terrier Club of Greater Houston will be putting on a Show Event at Crowne Plaza Houston Brookhollow located at 12801 Northwest Freeway on August 23-24. Then the Toy Club of Greater Houston will have an Event Aug 25-26 at the same location. (See AKC's website for more info.) I was wondering if anyone else was attending any of these events and especially wondering if we have any YTr's entering any of these events. I just thought it would be fun to meet up if anyone else is attending.

| That sounds cool. Is this something you take your own Yorkie to (not to show, just to watch) or do you just go and watch others show? (hehe.... hope that made sense.... there was a lot of "show" and "watch" in there!)

| Unless you're planning to show your baby I wouldn't take yours with you. The only reason I could see for taking your baby would be to get her use to the noise and crowds for future showing. I think some shows will allow you to take your pup if it's at least 6 mos old and is up to date on shots. Some shows won't allow it at all. You might go to www.akc.org and click on events, find the show and check to see if they will allow it. I find that I have a lot more freedom to move about if I don't have mine with me. But it's a personal decision. If they do allow it, be sure to post it for those who might want to bring their babies. Any suggestions from showers?
