| Lisences and where to wear them???? Ok so it is time Chewy needs to wear his Rabies and City Licences where do you all put yours, can't have him out on a collar needs his harness. Looks like a silly old man wearing a belt and suspenders to wear both a collar and harness. So where do you all keep those tags?? |

| Gracie wears a collar with all of her tags attached to that. She also uses a harness for her leash. You can attach the tags to the harness just as you would a collar.

| Both my teapot yorkies have their tags on collars. If you have a young one put the tags on a cat collar or maybe on the Harness itself.

| I don't have them wear it at all. I can't stand the jingling noise of multiple tags so I carry the rabie tage in my wallet. The only thing on their harnesses is their ID tag with our phone numbers. My kids don't own any collars.

| Chewy is 7 months now but goes to our shop downtown everyday he has discovered the thrill of um sneaking off and lifting his little leg, can't wait runs when called (right out on a main street). So he has to wear his harness but can't really get it on and off over his collar, so skipping the collar but hate keeping him in the harness 24/7 to keep those tags on. |

| My babies have their name and phone # emroidered on their collars. I have their license and rabies tags on a lobster claw hook and unhook easily so I am able to hook them on their harness or on the leash ... they are never outside without ID .... for that matter they are never outside without me.

| tags Tommy does not wear license but I ordered him a necklace with id plate on it. It has his name on the front and a cute picture of a doggie with a newspaper and on the back of the plate it has all the information where to call: my cell and HomeAgain phone with microchip ID#. You can also put medicine info if needed. I put on his tag "needs medicine" because I do not want people to keep him if found. The chain is stainless steel (you can also order it in real gold or sterling silver). It is very quiet because there is nothing hanging down and it does not bother Tommy at all. I have a piece of mind now. He is a sneaky kid and loves to explore outsides. I take it off at night just like my own jewlery. I got it from http://www.oneida-medical-jewelry.com/ It is medical IDs for people but I called the company and asked if they can make a bracelet with longer chain for my teapot furkid. They did a great job. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Mine only wear harnesses outside. They have ID tags for the harnesses...but most of the time I keep the tags in my purse/fanny pack. I have been planning on putting together ID cards for each of the dogs in my cars emergenct information. |

| tags and info Oops! I did a mistake. I've wrote a reply to this thread and placed outside link which is no-no. It's in moderator's review now. Sorry... I just wanted to share that I had the same dilema with the tags. I hate tags, especially because they hit the bowl when Tommy eats and make other unwanted sounds. I ordered him a medical ID information bracelet which I put on his neck as a necklace (pm me if you want to know where to get it). It is stainless steel with ID plate. You can ask them engrave a lot of information there. I have on Tommy's plate small cute doggie picture and his name on the front and medical, telephone and microchip info on the inside. You can also order these necklaces in real gold and silver. Looks cool, no more bulky collars, metal sounds and my furkid is also happy. I take if off for night, just like jewelry. |

| Mine all have their tags on their collars. When we go for walks I put their harnesses on but I can't keep their harnesses on all the time because they want to chew them so I have to keep the tags on their collar.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Mine have the tags on their collars. I put a harness on them too for walks, and I don't think it looks silly. A friend puts her tags right on the harness, off the top clip. It looks a little odd, but it's probably safer and gets the job done just as well.

| Mine do not wear collars around their necks so their tag(s) are on their harnesses which they only wear when "going out in public". Places like Petsmart though do have little plastic frames that you can buy to put the tags in so they don't jingle and make noise banging together.
