| New to YT Hi everyone. I've been searching for a yorkie message board and am so glad to have finally found one (one that people actually post on at that! lol) I am mom to a beautiful angel girl named Annie-Belle whom I lost March 22, 2007 in a tragic accident. We were in bed and were getting up for the day and I was putting her down so she could go potty. She was wiggling and slipped out of my hands (less than 8 inches from the floor) and landed on her head and neck. She was gone instantly. Her vet said that the chances of her hitting at that angle were less than one in a million. She was my BABY and losing her broke not only my heart, but the heart of my 10 yr old son as well. After some talking and debating back and forth, we have decided to maybe bring another baby into our lives. Annie-Belle's breeder happens to be a close friend of mine's mom and we are headed out to TX (we live in Georgia) to spend a couple weeks with her. I am helping her organize her dog kennel and office. It also gives me a chance to spend some time around the dogs to make sure we are really ready for another little yorkie girl. If we are then I have my pick of dogs she already has OR pick of the litter because Annie-Belle's mother is pregnant again and due in a couple weeks. We are looking forward to making many new friends who love yorkies as much as we do! Will post pics of my darling Annie-Belle as soon as I read up and figure out how! ~Graleyne Last edited by Graleyne; 06-10-2007 at 11:01 AM. |

| Oh, so sorry for your loss. Annie-Belle was beautiful. I hope you do decide to get another baby. I'm sure Annie-Belle would want you to share your love and your home with another baby. It certainly doesn't mean you'll forget her. Many of us here have lost babies. We all deal with it in different ways. Hopefully you'll bring a bundle of love home from Texas and keep Annie-Belle's memory alive.

| Thank you so much for the welcome. We more than likely will end up with another baby. My son and I are both, without a doubt, yorkie people. We just aren't the same without one of the cute little troublemakers in our lives. ~Graleyne |

| Thank you everyone for the very warm welcome! Wow, everyone here is so friendly! Thank you very much for the compliments on my Annie-Belle. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Never met anyone who didn't love her and she brought a smile to the grumpiest of people. ~Graleyne |

| First of all, a GREAT BIG WELCOME to YT!!!! I am soo very sorry for your loss of your pretty little angel Annie Belle. She is beautiful. It is so hard to imagine what you've gone through. In time, hopefully a new little Yorkie girl will help your heart to heal, not forget or replace your precious girl, but perhaps bring back some of the joy of these cute little troublemakers Again, welcome, and you'll love it here
