| A little ticked... We live in a small community and the local Husky Club decided that since there are plenty of dog shows around for registered dogs they would host one for pet dogs...it was called the ALL BREED FUN MATCH...well let me tell you I was so excited to go with Reece and Darla this morning. When we got there...the dogs that were there were obviously show dogs..my god people even brought their grooming tables, x-pens etc...my plain jane Reece and Darla didnt stand a chance!! I felt like an idiot walking the ring with poor Reece (my daughter entered Darla) he isnt a show dog and doesnt know the first thing about walking a show ring or standing on the table to get judged. BUT this was supposed to be for dogs like OURS...there were two papillions, two japanese chins, and two min pin's and all three handlers were obviously into this as a career...kinda made the FUN MATCH not so much fun for us. I talked to the person putting this on last week and she assured me this wasnt for the the reg. show dogs and I will be talking to her again when I see her next...I was awfully humiliated... Silly reason to be upset I know...but I am just a little ticked..lol.. Dawn |

| Oh my gosh, I know EXACTLY how you felt. Hopefully, your little ones had more fun than you did anyway. |

| Awww, don't be embarrassed! The show people entering their show dogs in a fun match should be embarrassed!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | GO REECE !!! That's pretty unfair to let showdogs enter if they said it was just for regular pets....but good for you going in the ring. I bet it was fun even if he did shoot his mouth off LOL |

it really sounds like it would have been lots of fun if it was just for the homies ....I know show people need to start somewhere but when something says 'FUN Match' - it's kind of wrong to bring in the practicing showdogs. | |

| Sorry that it wasn't much fun. Too bad some people are way too competitive. I probably would have entered too, it sounds like a fun idea -- if only the other owners had stayed with the spirit of the event.
