Congratulations, she is adorable. Hopefully in time your mom will warm up to her and then Bette will have your mom wrapped around her paws.
It's amazing (and I'm older) how many people just don't know about puppy mills. I didn't but I love my boy no matter where he came from and the other one is a rescue so I really have no idea about her backround. I hope you hang in with us as the members here have so much knowledge to share and are very caring.

I'm glad you decided to come back to the forum. Folks can get a little radical sometimes -- myself included -- but it's only because there's a baby in distress

There's a lot to learn here. But, everyone has something to share, especially when they've got babies as cute as Bette.

I am glad your mom is giving you guys a grace period so to speak!!! I have been quiet on this thread also for the simple fact that it upset me the way the thread was going vs what it should have been and I know me!!!

I would be fighting for Bette and you guys probably would have thought I was a nut!!! I am not new new but new enough and on here enough to know the geniune concern you guys have for us newbies and our babies!! and I thank all of you!! I was so upset I pm a member and told her thank you for her comments cause I didn't want to keep that aspect of the thread going!! So I am glad that it has all worked out and tell Bette that if she needs any tips on behaving

lol email Nathan!! He can surely tell you what not to do!!!

Good luck and welcome to YT. It's a great place to be and learn. Just remember that everyone here was once a newbie themselves. So don't be discouraged and keep coming back. You can learn a lot here and for the most part everyone is nice and will help you when you are in need.

Well apparently everyone thinks i am a bully or something. I was not scolding Bette at all, in fact the comment I made defending why I made a post about puppy mills was directed at other member, not to bette.
I would never be angry at someone that purchaed from a pet store, only sad. because i know so very few people who are shopping for a new family member know about them. and i wanted to mention puppy mills because their are alot of first time buyers of a yorkies who read the forums and i was mostly trying to educate them.
i think it is really sad that i myself am being "scolded" for trying to educate.
And let me say that i do not feel that i was going off topic in the first place, it was directly linked to where she purchased the pup.
And MY GOD, You people should be glad that at least someone is talking about puppy mills.

bette hang in there I am so glad your mother is coming around. Your baby is adorable. Please visit often and ask any questions you want. Remember we have all been new at some point. Im still fairly new and the info I have gained on YT is incredible so welcome back girl!!
