| Incredible Papi and Patticake Story I just read through the entire thread yesterday and today! Do you know how long that took to read the messages, look at the pictures, watch the videos? LOL I was soooo impressed with Lori's generosity of heart and spirit and your sweet Brae - what a precious girl you arel! As a handicapped senior, I know how much Patticake means to Papi. My Molly has given me a reason to live too. Bless you and all the people who helped you. This is truly a story for a book and movie. How heartwarming! Does anyone know a writer? I am so proud to belong to this group of wonderful people, who not only love Yorkies but each other as well. Kathy |

Hi Kathy!!! Have you seen those latest adorable pics of Papi and his baby girl. We should go there and bump the thread tonight so everyone can see the latest baby pics. Or maybe we can persuade our sweet Papi to post some new shots here of him and his Patticake. Thanks for saying I have a "way with words"..... hhhmmmmm wish I had that "way" when I am trying to get Hubbie to do a chore, son to clean up his mess, and demented baby Mango to stop treating Mommy's toes like they're a delicious chewbakka (did I spell that right?), that she pounces on whenever the mood strikes her.....LOL.... Hey Kathy, wish you lived down the road... would sooo love to meet ya for a quick cup of and some.... | |

| It would be sweet to read "The Memiors of Patticake and Papi" from Papi's perspective. But I agree, Lauren could probably write an awesome story about it as well...

| Well they could co-author it, right? He actually lived it, so he would have to tell her EVERYTHING about it, nothing held back...then she could put pen to paper...or fingers to keyboard, which ever she prefers. Come on it would be magnificent!!! I can see it now, on the top sellers list. Seriously!!!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm still rooting for the title "A Puppy for Papi: Patticakes' Adventures on the Yorkie Train." It could be done almost documentary style and mix the points of view of Papi, Lori, Elaine, and PC. Then you'd want to intersperse some insight from the folks who got things started -- like Patti, Corinne and Connie. And you'd have to include some of the marvelous entries on the various threads. I am still just blown away by the outpouring of fboth actions and emotions by the folks on this site. |

| Would be a great idea, especially if it was in the form of a photo montage, with commentaries written in, copies of wonderful posts made during the "Great Railroad" trek across the country, then finally the placement of Patticake into Papi's waiting arms..... the beautiful flowers and cake he so thoughtfully brought.... the pictures he has posted of his precious baby, showing off the haircut so lovingly given by his gentle hands... and last but not least.... let's not forget how simply stunnnnnnning our Lori and Bre are .... they would look so beautiful in our photo/montage/story book.... Now Papi, he is the one with the "gift of the gab".... can we all just picture him, Patticake snoozing on his lap while he slowly writes about this incredible saga... Yorkieshadow, with her incredible artistic talent can provide the artwork. |

| LOL You do have a way with words. you and papi both. I mentioned making a story or a comic book type story on the train thread. and I read and collected a lot of the thread. but when mentioned pictures. Lori and Elaine did not want their childrens pictures in it. witch I do understand, but like I explained to them the comic would only be of a little girl and a boy not the actural pictures of their children. well any ways. I decided not to do it cause it took me days to collect from that thread and with dial up can you imagine? lol and well Im not very good at wording my thoughts at times and or spelling for that matter. lol so If you decide to do some thing like a story on it and or Papi does one, I would love to have it too. some thing to pass down to my children and my Grandbabys. |

| Debbie, That is so funny, last night after logging off YT, getting ready for bed...It dawned on me, that you would be the perfect one to add the artistic touch to this story. It's the first thing I was going to mention when I came on tonight after work...Would you please...And yeah, I can understand Lori's concern for going "public" with pictures of her daughter, Bre...but it would make a beautiful story, I really do think it would be as safe as posting pictures on YT...maybe we'd have to change the names, or alter the pictures in some way...If it was more like caricatured...I don't know...I'm sure something could be worked out...Just give it all some thought...and just maybe???

| Kathy, funny you should mention logging off YT. A funny thought just occurred to me..... I NEVER switch my computer off, it just runs 24/7 (it's a Mac, you see.... that is just what they do..LOL).So if I leave a YT webpage up 24/7 as well, y'all probably think I am a total and complete YORKIETALK ADDICT, 'cause I always appear to be online (DSL is also never "off"). Now, I want to make sure you ALL realize.... I am NOT a YT addict, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not............... and now, if one of you would kindly point me in the direction of the nearest support group puhleeeeze......ooooh! The HORROR of it all........... |
