| puppy meds......??? When I bought my pup, the lady gave me some liquid stuff, said it was a mix of stuff to keep puppy from getting runny poo and upset tummy during transition time of two weeks. She said to give puppy 1 tsp every morning & night. I would never recommend buying a pup from this lady .... she was selling for her daughter, she was in her 70's, the house was not clean.....puppy had a TICK and scabs, etc.......I dont trust this lady and dont want to give my puppy this stuff, but IT WORKS !!! I forgot a day and Benji had runny poop/ gurgly tummy......I gave it to him, and his poo is more solid. AND IDEA WHAT THIS STUFF IS ???? Kinda pink - hubby said it tastes HORRID !!! She also said to give puppy 1 tsp pancake syrup twice a day to level out blood sugar, for 2 weeks....anyone do this ???? |

| She gave it to you without telling you what it is, and the name isn't on the bottle? I have no idea what it could be. How old is Benji and how much does he weigh? I wouldn't give him the pancake syrup. There's some stuff called Nutrical that you can give him, but you really don't need to do that as long as he is eating okay. What is he eating and how much? Just trying to get an idea of why he could have runny poo. Have you taken him to the vet since you got him? Last edited by SJK1113; 06-07-2007 at 03:07 PM. |

| I would call the vet or take the puppy there with the pink stuff. I didn't get it for mine and he didn't have an upset stomach. You might want to try Nutrical instead of the maple syrup, but I would ask the vet about everything.
