Donating YT 14K Club Member | I am losing my mind!!!! Well, last Thursday, the in-laws and my parents went out of town...not the same trip mind you. They brought over their dogs for me to baby sit. I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!! Not only do I have my dogs/puppies, but well, here's a list of what I have at my house! 2 Yorkies...mine 4 yorkie pups...mine 1 maltese (mom's) 1 chihuahua/rat terrier (in-laws). 8 dogs in my house. I'm going crazy!!!!! The chihuahua is in heat (last stages), I've already taken the maltese to the vet...has a nervous stomach when there's too much excitement around. Door bell just rang, my yorkies got out of our yard...left them out there for 15 minutes to potty. WHEN WILL IT END!!!! Sorry, I really just need to vent. Then, in the morning, our cousin asked if I would watch her 4 1/2 year old for a couple of hours. Now, I myself have a 4 1/2 year old that is 3 weeks younger than their's. But my child knows to leave the puppies alone. You can tell Lacee 10 times and she is still going to mess with the puppies. GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!!! |

| Yes, you are losing your mind. Take the puppies and put them in front of the tv, I'm sure you have a dog movie of some kind. Put newspaper down in the bottom of the closet and put Lacee on it and shut the door. Put the waa-waa in a cage and sit and hold the malt while stroking and petting your hair. There!! All fixed? | Doncha ya just hate it when your "NO" button is on the blink? Man, I do but after 67 years I found a new one. Well, not really a "NO" buttom but just as effective. I keep all my doors locked and when one of my family arrives OUT OF THE BLUE I know it is to ask a favor..I quick wet my face, shake my hair in every direction, grab a small towel go to the window by the door and look out and scream "I don't know you! Go away or I'm gonna call the police!" all the time waving the towel like I am swatting flies or chasing ghost. Works like a charm! My daughter who is 45 said she loved me cause she would never have to take care of me as a crazy old woman. No one would know I was!! I get no respect!!! |

| Woww.. 8 dogs and 2 kids, that's a lot of take care off... Don't you wish you could just hang a sign "overload" to make them all go away before they can ask some favors? You're so nice to help them though. Hang in there. Good luck. |

| I would have put my foot down when it came to the kid. Sorry, but I have other peoples pets here, and I can't watch her every minute to ensure she doesn't accidentally hurt one. God bless you, and all the patience you must have. |
