| Sasha was spayed Sasha was spayed on Thursday everything went well but....since she got home on Friday she has been scared to go outside, she sticks to Jack or I like glue. She has potty and pooped in the house quite a few times. She had accidents every great once in a while but not like now. She loved to go to the squadhouse everyday but now nope not interested. Thank goodness Jack is off right now. (He had a heart attack in April) Is it possible she thinks when we go outside we are taking her back to the vet? I really do not know what to do, she is really frightened when we say lets go potty, or just head to the door. HELP!!!

| Poor little sweetie for being afraid. I am glad to hear that everything went well for her. I think that I understand that your baby had to stay overnight at the vet??? Sorry if I am asking questions that you have answered before. How old is Sasha? How much does she weigh? My little girl Roxee is going in on Thursday for her spay. She is right at 1 year old and weighes 4 lbs. I am a nervous wreck. My vet says that she has to stay the night there---(someone is there through the night and vet is on call). Thank you in advance for answering my questions. Please give kisses to your baby from Roxee and I. |

| Sasha is 6 months old, and weighs 5.5 lbs, yes she spent the night but...Melissa (Vet John's wife) stays at the office when a puppy has to spend the night. I grew up with Vet John and his wife. His father was a vet also. John took over the practice so they are wonderful loving people. They have taken care of all of pets through the years. They are good people. We have only had Sasha since the day after Mothers Day. I just wonder if she needed more time with us before we sent her to spend a night at the Vet's Office? Sasha walked through the door the first day we got her and she seemed to just take over. She has been just perfect until the surgery. Did I do something wrong? Sending her to soon to be spayed? I feel horrible, worried and Jack (my husband) is just worried to death. Thank-You for kisses Roxee and Thea

| Bailey just got spayed 5 days ago she is 7 mo. old and 1.9 lbs So you can imagine how scared I was... But the funny thing is... we took her in at 9 am and picked her up at 4:30... It was an out patient procedure.... Anyway... I dont know how long its been since your baby was spayed but Bailey is just now getting back to her regular self (after 5 days). The fast (the day before) and then the surgery itself takes alot out of our little ones... Bailey slept with daddy the second night and didnt even get up to go to the bathroom she just peed right there on the sheets and on daddy and HERSELF... she didnt even move.... just layed in the pee....the poor thing just moped around the house for 3 days... anyway Im sure your little one will be fine... she just needs some time to re adjust... |

| Maybe try just bringing her in the yard and holding her and walking around a little bit with her a few times. It might have been a little traumatic and she needs to get back into her routine gently.
