| This is Horrible, I cant imagine I was over at a friends house with my Meeka and she told me this story about her friend. This will teach you to never leave your puppy outside alone. So her friend Viki got a female Yorkie and one day left out for a while alone, I dont know all the details but I believe that she ran to the store or something. When she came back she was gone. She could find her any where. Well I guess she had a tag on, so later on she got a call from a blocked number. A woman on the line said that her teenage son stole the dog and brought it home and now her younger daughter is in love with the puppy so they will be keeping it. Just like that they think that they get to keep the puppy!!!! She said that she called to let her know that she will have a good home and to stop looking for the pup. Can you believe the nerve! What do you do? |

| I would of called the police, there is always a way for you to find out who called your house - even if it is a blocked call! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | oh wow. First she should never ever have left a tiny dog outside but that's horrible no matter HOW it happened. Those people may very well come back for money and try to sell her the dog back - She needs to put flyers up and ask ALL the kids who has a new yorkie then CALL THE COPS IF SHE FINDS them ! |

| Report it to the police, that's what I would do. There are always ways to track a phone number. And then I would contact all Vets in the area and ask in all schools who has a new puppy... Those people need to be punished even though I think it was quite "nice" of the "lady" to try to make the heartaches a little less painfull for the victim..... |

| Definitely call the police! They can trace the number! I don't care how well they treat her, she's probably missing you guys terribly right now. Unbelieveable, that someone would do that. She's teaching her children that it's OK to steal. And we wonder why the world is the way it is..... Please let us know what happens.... My heart goes out to you guys...

| yeah someone did this to my cousin, she has a maltese. The son actually called later and felt bad about it and was going to return it, but the mom got on the phone and said they were keeping it. My cousin had caller ID and actually called the cops who said all she could do was fill out a stolen property report. A couple weeks later my cousin spotted a girl walking the dog and convinced her to give it back for 20 bucks, they got several threatening phone calls from the people, which were all reported to the police.

BANNED! | That woman is teaching her teenage son to be a criminal!! What does she think she is doing??? You need to report it to the police immediately, she deserves to be punished along with her criminal son. Some people these days just don't respect each other and have no darn morals. |

| I don't see anything "nice" about it.

| I know its a horrible experience, but its almost as bad that the owners didn't do anything about the dog being stolen.

| That's insane - Because her daughter fell in love with it - they're keeping it - GET REAL people - IT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU - IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. The nerve of some people - and they probably feel good about calling - I don't think I'd stop looking for these people and my dog!!!!! |

| How horrible! See, Im soooo afraid for my babies that they never leave my sight! I mean I worry when they are locked up in my house while Im at work or wherever that I'll come home to a busted window and them gone! Friends & family have also noticed from the news & stuff the 'yorkie craze' that is happening right now! They thought I was crazy paranoid, but now they can totally understand my fears!
