i dont think the police can do much about it... a while back i wrote how i was being harassed on the phone and the police wouldnt do anything about it.. i even had the number that was harassing me.. i thought maybe they could give the person a warning or something.. anything but they said no.. cuz like this isnt a serious enough case like a murder or something... so annoying :thumbdown |

We had someone calling us every day and harassing us. We reported it to the police and she was told if she called again she would be arrested. They took it very seriously and wasn't a death threat or anything too serious. I would still give it a try and call the police. It is better to try than to just give up right away. That is just horrible that this happened!! The nerve of some people!!! |
This is sick and horrible. This woman always thinks that everything can be taken without asking permission, get real! Remember the old saying? "Never take things that doesn't belong to you". I understand the need of getting pets, but is this the way? I suppose not. If I were you I would definitely let the police settle the case. |
omg that is horrible!!!! I can imagine her desperation at that moment. I would call the police, I'm sure they can track the number |
Let us just hope that the police can track down the number and bring that woman to swift justice. I mean really, that woman wants a dog for her daughter, then she should really get one on her own! Not by stealing other people's property which only makes your life and other people's lives miserable. The things that I hate in this world are: Liars, cheaters, stealer, murderers, cruel people, discourteous people and I can go on and on. |
What she needs to do is report the dog stolen. Then print up lots of flyers with a reward. SOMEONE will contact her. Also put on the flyer that the dog has been stolen. It just might scare the people who have taken her. |
that's totally unbelievable. How could anyone do that. On the other hand anyone who leaves a puppy outside alone and goes to the store, is not very responsible. My dogs are on my finced patio behind the house while I'm at home. they come and go through a doggie door. But I put them inside when I leave. |
She should report the dog stolen, but I don't know what in the world would posess someone to leave their Yorkie let alone a pup alone in the yard, especially while they aren't home. Someone stealing her is terrible but I hate to say that it could have been worse. She could have come home to see her dog mangled or poisoned. I'm a wreck with my Yorkies. We live in NJ the pines section and I know on one occassion, we saw a hawk flying around my little Bella when she was a pup. One weep and she would have been in that hawks mouth and gone. It's happened before. Not to mention big dogs getting into the yard or just plain mischievious little Yorkie getting into something she shouldn't and no one there to hear her crying. I hope it works out for this woman and I sure hope she's learned that they do not belong outside alone. Not even when you're home. Elaine |

I would report the dog stollen. Also if she would have dialed *69 I believe that is a call back number for the last person that called. If that didn't work there are ways to trace a #num. It is totally wrong for them to keep the dog. She probably called because she knows if your friend posts pictures, she'll be found out. She probably lives close by. Get the posters out all over, I'm sure someone will see it & turn her in. |
