She said what??? |
She should call the police so they can find out from the phone company who called at a specific day and time. Then she should call all the Vets and shelters and give them a heads up. Hopefully the dog was microchipped. Keep us up on this if there are any changes. |
I do have to add a couple more things here. First, the lady is letting her son know it's ok to steal, so the road is set for him to end up dead or in jail or prison. They must not live too far away, so I'd post pictures and a healthy reward for anyone who knows where this dog would be. I'm sure some of his friends who know he has the dog will cash in by calling and giving information. I'd be knocking on every door, especially around a two block radius, and asking if they have seen the dog and hand them one of the flyers. I'd make things so hot for that lady that she would be willing to cash in too. |

Also, that woman who is going to keep the stolen Yorkie must be psychotic. I hate how entitled some people feel they are...as if no one else in the world matters. It's sickening. |
oh WOW! She should call the police immediately if she wants her dog back! |
Ok, so one of my friends has a really cute little 8 month old skin baby. I love her to pieces. I think I'll go get her, and then call her and tell her I have her but she can't have her back. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!! The sad thing is that this lady had children in the first place. I'm so worried about the future of this generation. Call the police and ask if they will trace the call and take you to these people's house. Maybe they will walk up to the door with you to retrieve the dog. It was taken off of her property (not the smartest idea but not the point) so it's a crime. I hope this lady gets her baby back. I would move Heaven and Earth to find out who it is. |
Holy crap. I would be so upset. |
I have already had warnings from my neighbors about stolen dogs around here. I am keeping a close eye on my gigi!!! Was her dog microchipped???? Everyones should be. I am taking gigi soon and my husky has had his since 6 months |
Definitely contact the police. If the police doesn't want to get involve, do everything you can to make this woman's life miserable. My neighbors dog was stolen from her yard right in front of her eyes (well of course, that's life in Houston) and the next day she saw her little baby about 3 blocks away with a little girl. When asked, the little girl said her mommy just bought her the dog who then admitted that her husband stole the dog. |
WOW!!!!!!!!! I can not believe this happened  I am so sorry for you.. I hope you get your baby back |
Call the police! The phone company might be able to provide the phone # to a law enforcement agency considering a crime has been committed. The boy who stole the dog should be doing some major juvi time. |
I wouldn't be able to live with that. I would flip. I would have called the police and even notified news stations AND radio stations and my whole neighbor hood would be looking (granted that my whole nieghborhood has barely changed and it is almost imposible to buy a house around here and in the rare occasion one does go up for sale its not up for long and everyone knows me and has since i was born).. I would try and notify EVERYONE possible. When I get my yorkie she won't be leaving my sight for a second. |
OMG This reminds me of my cats and my bro's dog. Cats We had this kitten for about 8 months and then suddenly went missing, we looked everywhere and couldn't find it, so we got another kitten at the shelter. At 6 months that kitten went missing. One day while playing outside I saw in my nieghbours basement. We asked them before if they saw the cat and they said no. Both times! Anyways they lived in a basement apparment, so we told the people upstairs if they didn't give us the cat now, we would phone the police. They didn't so we got home and my bro told my mom everything, then there was a knock at the door and we it was the people with the kitten. We never got the other cat back and the people moved shortly after. Dog My bro got a rotty, it's 6 months old. They let it out in their backyard and escaped. They asked everyone in the street and everyone said they haven't seen it, but everyone thought the old lady was up to something. So my brother started yelling at her for the the 3rd time and she finally confessed she took the Dog. She told my bro where to him it up. Apparently once she saw him she took off his collar, and gave him a bath and then gave him to her son. The person who took the Dog must live extremely close by... they should have ring on every doorbell over and over and report it to the copps |
Stolen Dog Quote:
I don't know where your friend lives but I work for the Police in my town and we follow up on stolen animal complaints. I don't understand why she has not reported it to the police. There are all kinds of ways to track phone calls now even blocked phone calls. Your friend needs to call the police ASAP to get her dog back. That woman has to be a nut job to call her and tell her she is keeping the dog what the heck?????????????? Jay |
That is a lot of nerve. The owner of the pup could call the police; they can trace a blocked number. |
