| No we do not take them but we make arrangements for Toni's son to stay at our house while we are gone. I think still being at home makes a world of difference to them. I do not think they could handle being away from us and NOT being at home.

YT 1000 Club Member | I don't fly, so I don't know about taking them on the airlines. I drive everywhere I want to go and I do take my Yorkies with me. They travel very well. I always stay with friends or family or go camping. All good places to make arrangements to keep my babies with me. If the Yorkies aren't welcome then I will find a different place to stay at where I can have them with me. Mine are so adjusted to travel that as long as I take my own bedding they just hop onto the bed and settle right in because they are with me and so they are fine. If I had to leave my babies home I would certainly have someone stay with them. I would not put my babies in a kennel. I would hire someone to stay at my house and keep my babies. They would feel best to be left at home than to go someplace they don't know. The other choice I have is to leave them with my mom, they go there all the time, so they are familiar with her and also being at her house. I think that would be a possibiity in an extreme circumstance. I do take mine everywhere I go though and they love it!

| When I go overseas, I plan on taking Duchess with me. I will use doggy diapers. I used them for my last yorkie when she was incontinent. For long trips, doggy diapers are the way to go. The key is to get her used to them before you take the flight or she will tear them off |
