Diggy's are up, then one up one down..then the other side goes up, then down....Now they are both down...What age do they make up thier minds?? He is 13 weeks. Bella's never went down at all they are set right on top her head and digs are slightly more to the side of the head....His ears are big but so were (are) hers... | LOL - I've experienced the same thing - I never knew what my puppies would look like day to day! I've heard that once they stop teething the ears will stay up 'if' they have been going up and down. Hoku is 6 1/2 mos. and her ears are up except for the very tips. Kalani is 6 mos. and his are both straight up.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ozzie's have always been up. They are rarely ever down. Our first Yorkie, though, was like Deedle Dumpling with one ear up, one ear down. Occasionally, they would both be up, but were mostly down. It was this way through his entire 11.5 years. So ... the short answer is I don't think there is a hard and fast time. |

BANNED! | When they are teething the ears can fall. This is very common, so give it some time, and then you can tape the ears if your really wanting them to stand. You can help them stand by shaving them to take some of the weight off the ears. |

| Betty's ears have done it all!! I figured finally at 7 months, she would keep the one ear up, one ear down style. Then, all of a sudden, they were both down! I shaved them, but it didn't help. I think she's too lazy to hold them up! She looks cute anyway!

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | lol all your posts are funny! I dont think I really care if they are up or down..I dont know...I mean I guess I prefer up....Bellas were up from shortly after birth and never moved straight up all times.....Diggy well he just looks kinda goofy cuz they are big and they fold at the head not like half way up so he looks sad....I too never know what he is gonna look like in the morning lol its like Oh good morning Mr. I change looks by the day. It is funny when he walks tho,....he walks like scooby doo...kinda a clutsy prancey thing and those ears bounce all the way up and down with every step. His sisters are Zoey and Ada Ada's are up and BIG lol Zoes are just hysterical one up one down have been like that for almost a year now. She tries to be serious and you just laugh cuz its so hard to take such a cute silly face like that seriously. I guess I can do the cut hair on ear thing ...Good lick to me tho he got a bath last night and tried beating up blow dryer and put a real whoopin on the brush.......not gonna work with scissors

| I'm going through the same thing right now w/my new girl Kenzie. I've shaved and taped, but they still flop up then down. They seem to be about half up right now, with just the tips flopping over, lol. Shes 14.5 weeks old and teething like a maniac, so I'm hoping they'll go up soon! They aren't that big, so i've got my fingers crossed |
