| New Puppy...Need Opinions on Name Some of you may already know that I lost my baby boy Maxx last week before he even made it home . Well, thanks to the advice from many of you I had decided to keep Maxx in my heart but I also chose to find another furbaby to share my love with. I found my new little man and he comes home this Friday . He's 12 weeks old and is coming from a WONDERFUL local breeder that I miraculously found...again, more great advice from many here on YT . Since my husband is getting him for me as a belated birthday gift and, more importantly, because he puts up with me being a total Brat , I've decided to name my baby boy in his honor. I want to name him after one of my husband's favorite things...either flying and airplanes (Piper) or golf (Mulligan - Mully or Mulli for short). I need your opinions to help us decide. I am leaning more towards Piper but want to see what you all may think...or if you have any other suggestions that fall into the two categories of "favorite" things. Thanks everyone!! Especially for all your thoughts, prayers, and great advice. I miss my Maxx and wish he were here but I am blessed and excited to have found another beautiful little boy to give my love to . Here are some photos of the new love of my life!! Does he look like a Piper or a Mulligan Thanks again!!

| Nice tatoo! Is that you? Ok, I love Piper. My zowie looks like an airplane when she puts her ears out straight to the sides. It is a funny look. I'll have to post one, my hubby takes that picture a lot.

| No Laura, that's my husband with the cheesy 80's tatoo on his arm, holding our new baby boy. The guy who did his tat was named "the Butcher" - go figure! Would love to see the pics of your little airplane Zowie!! Thanks for your input! Going to keep a tab. Will post when I figure out which one to name him.

| Me personally I like Mulligan or the shortened versions. It not only pays tribute to your husband but also his golf game. You can also say it pays tribute to your fallen baby because you are getting a dog so soon after. I really like Mulligan, Mulli or the like. |

| I like Mulligan. Piper is sort of a girly name, to me. Maybe its because my friend has a little girl name Piper.

| He is so cute! I just looked at his pics again! He has a tough guy expression on his face.... now I'm thinking maybe he's a Mulligan! Now you have me completely confused!

| I vote for both! My baby has 2 names! You can name him Piper Mulligan! We call our baby Rocky and Balboa! He responds to both and knows that we are calling him, no matter which we decide to call him! Then again, maybe he would answer to anything! He also answers to Rock Star and Foxy Rocky Heart! |

| Shelley..my husband said the same thing earlier today. We've been in the habit of picking middle names for our animals lately. Our Chi is named Titania's Pixie Dust but we call her Pixie, our Boxer is Beowulf Harley Henry, our African Grey bird is Nittany Kelley (the second name for a friend who passed away), and our Greenwing Macaw is Tiki Rae. He'll probably end up with two also...just don't know in which order. Rocky is ADORABLE by the way!!

| Thanks! Piper is my favorite name! We almost named our baby Piper, but he just looked more like a Rocky! My beagles are Lady Sadie Hawkins and Sir Oliver Twist lol! We just call them Oliver and Sadie! I think it would sound great either way! |

| Hey! I have a friend with a daughter named Piper, too. It was a family name (maiden). I do like piper mulligan. Since I started putting Zowie's hair up, my hubby is calling her Zowie Lou - who. Like the Who's in the Grinch. I also posted her airplane look, that's the first one I could find from last nov. We also called her gismo back then, since then I have cut the hair from her ears, it was so long and hung in front like that. the boys had a fit, they liked it long
