| Does the height mean the end weight Hi Everyone, Ive tried to put a pic of my little one to show you, but I cant figure out how. HeHe I will wait for one of my kids to get home and do it. I know there has been alot of ? on the weight issue and how to work out how big a pup will be. My question is. When I took Tilly to the vets for a check up and she was weighted she is 2lbs at 14 weeks and 5inchs from floor to shoulder. The vet told me to be careful what I was feeding her as she was abit over weight. She doesnt seem over weight to me she seems tiny. Do you think thats big for her age and height. Also any guesses on her final weight and height. Thanks |

| I'm guessing her final weight at 4 pounds. The vet probably felt her ribs and determined that she was overweight. Most yorkies will not over eat if they are free fed on dry kibble. |

| Your vet is considering that she is a little overweight according to her height. Do you know the weight of her parents? That helps to make a guess, although it's ONLY a guess because it's hard to tell. |

| I don't think that height correlates to weight, because some yorkies will be tall and thin, while others will be short and chubby. Like JeanieK said, the vet probably felt her ribs, and thats why he thought she was overweight.
