Nicky is missing.
 
Yesterday, Nicky dissappeared. We think he got out over a baby gate. We can't find him and we think someone pulled up in our drive and took him. We have posted a big sign right out in front of our house, we live right off of highway 65. We have called everyone, Humane Society, vet offices and clinics, radio stations. I don't know how they got their hands on him. He won't come all the way to me so I can't see him going up to a stranger. Oh God, I miss him so much. I keep hoping he will come out of the woods and scratch and whine at the door.:cry8:

Please pray that if God doesn't see fit to return him to me that he will at least be well taken care of. Please pray for his safety. Thanks, Sylvia:cry8:

Is your baby microchipped?? I will pray for his safe return, I know your worried sick. I hope you get him back soon.

No, only one of my dogs is microchipped. I haven't got the money to do it yet but this sure brings it home. If someone took him just cause they want a Yorkie, maybe I could have found him by the chip. The breeder I got him from wasn't doing chips when I bought him. She is now. I wish she was doing it a year and a half ago.

OMG ! You must be worried sick and I hope you find him ! :( :( That's not good you live near a highway....:(

Hopefully someone DOES have him and is waiting to find his people...Bless his heart - I hope he's going to be ok and found

Oh, Villette, there is a frontage road between us and the highway, not much of a buffer I know but I don't think he went near the freeway. He might have been out by the frontage road. There is a lot of open-ness there and a bird of prey might have been able to catch him. I hope not. The frontage road only goes to our house, a neighbors house and a cell phone tower. It's not a thru road. It drops off at both ends so no one who doesn't have a reason to be back here had any business in our drive.

I just pray he's safe where ever he is. Sylvia

Not flyers, just a big sign out on the freeway. I will be printing up some flyers and taking them to petsmart and the petwarehouse and vet clinics and hospitals. The ones we called are watching for him.

I will be putting them up in the grocery stores too.

I am so sorry about your baby that is just awful. I am now beginning to realize the lengths people will go to for one of our babies, and it frightens me to even have my baby outside. I just bought a vera bradley pet carrier so if i do take him anywhere, even the vet or groomer it ensures that he is always attached to me, literally!

Don't forget to put up some signs around the neighborhood as well (Be sure to include his picture). Make them big enough so that people can read them as they drive by. I have found two dogs that I was able to return to the owners because I saw their signs posted on poles when I was driving by. It may not help if someone intentionally took him, but it would help if he were lost or if someone saw who took him. I hope you find your baby very soon.

My heart dropped when I saw this. I am so sorry your little one is missing.
Prayer's coming for a safe return to you soon. I do hope he's safe with
someone who is looking to return him.
Think positive Syliva. I know it is a hard thing to do when your under
stress but try. I can't imagine how heartbroken you must be.
YT prayer's come through often I hope they do this time also.

OH NO! Well try to hang in there. And as frightened and concerned as you must be, try to visualize Nicky coming home safe and sound. Keep positive thoughts flowing as much as possible.

Praying for a safe return of little Nicky. There was a recent YTer whose baby was snatched and when she posted flyers indicating the pup desperately needed medication (even though it wasn't true) the pup was returned. I would try anything you can think of!!!

Paula im so sorry, i suggest you put on your flyers needs meds and reward the humane society told me to do that and i got my boy back,also my animal shelter in my county does chips for free,it would not hurt to check.

Yes! Write that he needs medication!!! And as Drawlins27 suggested...put signs up around your neighborhood!! Good-sized ones. I found a neighborhood Papillion by seeing a sign posted!!!! I'll pray for his safe return.
