Im so sorry to hear about your baby. I hope he returns home soon.

I would not offer a free puppy I would just say a reward and not say the amount. good luck.I will keep your baby in my prayers.

Yes, we have called one station. We will be looking for other stations that do it too. We are calling the newspaper tomorrow and putting an ad in it, also we are putting an ad in the little papers you get for free. They are called Dandy Dimes out in AZ, Nifty Nickles or something out here.

Thank you and your babies for the prayers. There is only one child in our area. We are kind of secluded even tho we are right off the highway. Only one neighbor on each side and we have spoken to both of them. There are woods all the way around us on three sides. We have walked as far as we could, yelling, shouting and screaming for him. I even took his brother with me hoping he might sniff out the way Nicky went. I guess he's no blood hound. LOL He didn't find his brother either.

Beautiful picture of Libby. What a lucky shot. It is perfect for this situation.

Do you have cayotes in your area? Or bears? I have been hearing of cayotes attacking and killing dogs lately in NJ, just wondering since you wrote you have woods all around you...although I hope that's not the case here! Nicky is so cute, I hope wherever he is that he is ok.

Thank you but the avatar is Lily, his daughter. We just moved here about 2 months ago but the neighbors didn't say anything about preditors in our area. I have seen hawks and that worries me a lot. These are pictures of Nicky, the one where I am holding his collar is the one closest to showing his colors.

No I remember you posted pics for me in the jacket I sold you a while ago :) He is gorgeous!

I am so heatsore for you and your precious little Nicky. Hugs to you and sending prayers for your baby's safe return. Don't give up hope, there have been cases posted here of Yorkies missing for days, and then being found.

Go back to places you have searched before. You never know. Are there any service dogs in your area that are used for seeking/searching. You could give them one of your baby's blankets/toys to sniff and then seek.

As far as I know there aren't any service dogs like that in our area. I wish there were and I wish I knew about them.

I am so afraid he's out in the woods and hurt and suffering. Oh, how I pray that is not the case. I check outside around the house every couple of hours hoping he might be out there. The other dogs bark like crazy and I go running to see what they are barking about, even if I just checked 5 minutes ago. So far it's only been the neighbor's cats. I would never do it but right about now I wish I had a paint ball gun or something to drive them off. They didn't bother me before but I know the other dogs will bark at Nicky if he shows up and I want to know the instant he shows up if at all possible.

Could you find a search dog volunteer to help you? The track dog could sniff out something and follow tracks, etc. Surely, there would be a volunteer that would do it for a poor little one like your sweetie.

I am sorry for your loss. maybe you can get a large group of people together and take a whole day to just search the woods really good. cover as much ground as possible. use cell phones and walky talkies to keep in touch. maybe try setting food out unless you've got animals around that would be unwanted such as bears. but if your in an area where you don't have to worry about those larger animals then setting food out may help if your baby gets closer to home.

I was checking back and hoping that Nicky returned home safe and sound but he's not. Even if he doesn't return home, I hope wherever he is that he has enough food and water.

I am the same I alwasy start at the end of the post trying to get the results first....not know where her baby is....its just killing me.....:(

Our local rescue organization has microchips for $25 and I have heard that the local animal shelter has them for less ($20?). Just in case the only price you were quoted was at the vet.

We are also praying for Nicky!
