| Poop in her hair Cupcake's hair is finally growing longer, I really want to grow it out, but she gets poop stuck in her hair time to time. Gross! I have to take a baby wipe and clean it out, but its hard. What are some solutions? |

| We have had that problem with Sukoshi before, and the vet told us to just clean her back end with wet wipes once a day to make sure nothing is stuck back there. I agree it's gross though to have it just hanging out in the hair. I don't know if there's any way around it though if you want your baby to have longer hair. Maybe someone else will be of more help. |

| A little trim We have had the same issues... especially with full coats. We had the groomer trim around their "pooper" a little. It is not noticeable, but it does help prevent "hangers".

| I've only seen this happen to dogs who eat dog food. I've never had this happen to any dog, but you could cut away the hair there. I wouldn't shave it because it causes them to itch and "scoot". |

| We keep Jake's hair trimmed around that area, but we don't shave it because we don't want him to itch. Also, I use wipes to clean his butt off in the morning and then again at night. |

| I think trimming and constant cleaning are the only answers.

| See if your groomer offers a "hygiene cut" it's specifically for dogs who have that exact problem. We get it for Vinnie even though he sports a puppy cut! It still helps though!

| Every other day, Max's little butt gets a little shampoo. I just stick his butt in the bathroom sink, turn on the water and wash, then dry it off with a little towel.
