| Peeing in her Bed??? I was just curious if anyone else has this problem or if anyone know why my darling little coco would do this. I keep notiving that Coco pees in her doggy beds. I usually put a blanket in them and whenever I go to wash them I realize she has peed all over them. I bought her a new bed a couple months ago and when I gave it to her she jumped in it and peed. I have cleaned it a couple times but she keeps doing it. She loves sleeping in them even after going in them. Any advice?? It is as if she is marking her territory but I thought only boys did that.

| That is strange. Where did you get her? I have heard that puppies that come from pet stores or breeders that keep their dogs in kennels are so used to using their beds as bathrooms, that it becomes a habit. Other than that, I have no idea.

| I dont know I cannot really help i guess. Besides the fact that when I got Oliver sometimes he would go poop in his kennel or in his playpen (his bed). But that was about it... it was only a couple of times. Maybe it will pass I am not sure. |

| I have had her since she was two months old from a reputable breeder and she is a year and a half now. I never crated her either so it not something she has been trained to do. It is weird though because every bed she has she pees in. She sleeps with me at night and she doesn't pee then...except for a couple accidents when she was a puppy. Im not sure what to do to break her of the habit or if there is a reason she is doing it. She happily sleeps in it afterwards too which i think is even more strange.

| For some reason I thought she waas younger...has she always done it? Hmm...it seems like a really difficult habit to break. Maybe just train her the same way you pottytrained her. Or when you catch her peeing in her bed, say no and move her to the place where she's supposed to. Hopefully she'll get the hint.

| Could it be that she has too much room in her bed? They say to give them only enough room were they can stand up and turn around. I always hooked the expen to the front of the crate, put pee pads down along with chews and toys when house training. I would take them outside every hours and praise like the dickens when they made a pee or poo. They never ran around in the house at all till they were totally house trained. |

| I guess it is just a weird habit she ahs gotten into. She is potty trained and goes on her pads but for some reason she pees in her bed almost as if she is marking it. I will try to start paying more attention telling her 'no' but i never really catch her doing it. She doesnt do it on a regular basis just a few times and then when I clean it she will do it again...If only I could get into the little furballs head.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | My London does the same thing except she is 8 months old. She is potty trained and goes on her pad but she has peed on her bed before too and I'm like why would she pee where she sleeps? But then again she doesn't even sleep there, she sleeps on my bed. I'm trying to stop her from doing this and she doesn't do it all the time but I've noticed that she has never peed directly on the floor, she always pees ON things, on a pad, on paper, or on her bed
