Oh I'm sorry you lost your daddy too...I'll share Papi with you...I think sometimes the more manly men, really have a softer heart then we give them credit for. My hubby is really a big softie, and not afraid to show he cares, he cried (don't tell him I told you-it's our secret)after reading about Papi and Kassie, and asks me every day about it. I think that's just grand!!!

Hi everyone! We have not posted for so long. Our cockapoo Marley had end stage Cushings the past year. We finally had to let him go to doggie heaven. After some time passed, we began our hunt for the perfect addition to our family. Our family being my husband and I, Lucinda our Morkie, and our other cockapoo, Rosie. I spent hours and hours looking for him...and found him when I read Brenda's email about how she had to sell Acee and Jcee. On Thursday evening, John and I drove from our home in Kansas City to Brenda's in Farlington, Ks. It was love at first site when we saw Acee!! Of course we also got to meet his sister, who is now known as Patti or Patticake of Concordia and their dad, Deucee. These are the most adorable Yorkies ever! Brenda is a loving, caring person and has done a fantastic job raising these Yorkies!!! I can see why it has broken her heart to sell them. I know she is finding solace knowing that they will all be loved, loved, loved!!!
We renamed Acee after Johns late father. His new name is Judson D. Willison. We are already calling him J.D. or Juddy alot. He is the most adorable, cuddly, smart, sweet little guy ever!!! I take him everywhere with me. In fact, as we had already planned our vacation to Sanibel Island Florida before we got him, we decided we could not bear to leave him at home. We took him to our vet and she was thrilled to okay him going. We called the airline and paid his way for us to take him with us to our seats on the plane. You know that he is supposed to stay under the seat in the carrier and you know that he will actually be on my lap!!! .
Cannot wait for Papi to get Patti. She is gorgeous!!! I will be following along and am thrilled to have a personal connection to this story!

for whatever you wish to call your little sweetpea. When you see her, hold her in your arms, look into those precious brown eyes...the perfect name or combination of names will be crystal clear.

I am sure, as with all of us, we have special names for our beloved pets. Can just see her running towards you as you say "come here, Papi's girl".

Congratulations and reading through your threads, you will always have an ache in your heart for sweet Kassie. I do for Sophie and have been told her memory will never fade from my heart.

Charlie is the sweetest boy and so glad he is in my life which was so empty after Sophie's passing. Never feel guilt for loving another beloved pup, Papi; Kassie wouldn't want you to be alone or sad. Warmly, Deborah

How lucky are you to have found your little Judson after losing your precious Marley. Is it not just amazing, how after not posting, as you say, for so long, you end up adopting the brother of little Patticake, the teddy bear that is embarking on her fantastic voyage into Papi's waiting arms. You had both lost beloved pets that had left such a huge void in your hearts, and here you are, both ending up with siblings!!!
I am totally envious that you got to see the famous Patticake before any of us did. What a strange coincidence, that while all of this was going on this week, you would be the one to end up with Patticake's brother........ gives me goosebumps that these 2 little babies have been sent to mend two broken hearts.....:littleang's
