He has ads for yorkies, maltese, poodles, and chihuahuas and his ads are kind of backwards - for the maltese, he wants more for the male than the female. I thought the females were always the higher priced, regardless of breed? He claims this in one of his ads "I have wonderful references from my vet of 20 years and happy people who have my pets". He has this to say in one of his ads for a yorkie that weighs only 3 pounds "As a pet as she should not be breed being she's so tiny." One other thing - on hoobly, his location is listed as Bellevue, but his mailing address is Hickory Corners - I don't know how far they are from each other?

Another thing - if you'll notice next to his hoobly user name, it says "unverified." According to hoobly's help page, all accounts must be verified "All accounts have to be verified before you can use Hoobly for other than browsing ads. Verification protects sellers from fraudulent buyers and vice versa. Verification only needs to be done once; it is not a recurring requirement. Once verified there are no listing fees or commissions on ads placed, and no fees for contacting users about their listings."
I would think this means that he hasn't actually sold anything through hoobly using that user name.

I think there is something up with this guy... I don't think I would have any dealings with him. I am a rather nosy person by nature - if I don't know you and I might want something you are advertising, I will try to find out more about you.... I wouldn't want to walk into a situation that could turn out badly. My gut says stay away from this guy - he apparently has entirely too many dogs to breed safely (in my opinion - I am not a breeder, though) and they are all super small, according to the ads he has placed.

One last note - I tried calling the number 3 times and left a message once - no one has returned my call. It is my guess that if you were to start asking questions, he might disappear....

Just wanted to mention that when I did the search, it came up with the man's name - that's why I said watch out for him..... I am glad someone was able to speak with them - perhaps they could give more info about the other dogs that they are obviously raising? It was my understanding that a responsible breeder would have only one breed of dogs, possibly two, in order to spend more time with the dogs and have less of a chance of mixing breeds? I noticed that the "pets" that were being offered were still $1000 and up....

I tried to call her back and ask more questions, but only got the machine this time. I agree, they are way too small to breed, IMO. She told me she only had 2 females and 2 male Yorkies and a male and female Biewer, all in her house. I, personally would not purchase from anyone breeding so many different breeds but that's JMO.
