Please help!! MMY YORKIE IS 47 DAYS PREGNANT AND TIED WITH A MALE TODAY!!! O.K. I bred my yorkie and took her to the vet. He says that she is pregnant and now would be 47 days along. Today, we let her out and my sisters male yorkie to the bathroom. In just a few short secs. they were tied. I called the vet and he says that she may or may not lose them. But, I have not even heard of this. Has anyone???

She seems fine for now. She is eating and showing no signs of discomfort other than not going to bed. This happened at about 7:45 EST tonight. The vet says all that we can do is wait. He says that she may have a relaxed cervix??? Thats why he was able to tie. And that she may have vaginitis??? as that will cause a male to think she is in heat. Any info would be appreciated.

It is now morning and Ellie seems fine. No babies last night and no sign of anything wrong today. Although she is acting very needy for attention. I would still appreciate anyone who knows more about this.

Yes, I can feel the babies move. The vet says that she may have a touch of vaginitis??? as this will let the male believe that she is in heat. But, he doesn't think so, because her vulva is not red. He also says that in most cases, the female does not lose the babies. I am so confused. She does however seem to be fine and still no signs of impending labor.
