| I have 3 that are left with free roam of the house when we are gone. I have 13, 8 and an almost 1 year old Yorkies. They too have a cat flap sized doggie door to go in and out of a specialized area to do thier business when needed. I suspect the 13 year old sleeps all day in his doggy bed and the other two lay on a mat and look out the front window for mommy to come home most of the day. So far, this has been working but I did wait until the puppy was at least 4 months old and potty trained before he got to join with his older brothers. |

| I have a yorkie and a shih-poo. They are 3 and almost 2. They have free roam in the house while I'm gone. I'm pretty sure they sit up on the back of the couch all day and watch for the dastardly mail man and big scary kitties to bark at. I think Otis goes back to sleep on the bed for awhile, but they do just fine.
