I am going to do everything in my power to work it out so that I can participate. I am ALREADY tucking away $$ for the event. I would love to be a Vendor!

How much fun can one Yorkie Lovin' littl' ole lady have in one summer!

Good idea! I know Sukoshi shared her stroller with one of Corinne's dogs at a recent dog show, and they both just chilled - riding around in style! And I WILL be flying Sukoshi's stroller from CA to MO. I plan to keep her in it while we wait at the gate, and then check it plane-side like you would for a baby stroller.

Incidentally, my mom (who lives in KC and will be present at the meet-up events - her user name is "Sukoshis Gma" on YT) has also offered to "babysit" the Yorkies outside the museum while the mommies tour, if that is something people without carriers or strollers are interested in. As she said, she can go to these places anytime, so she could just as easily sit outside while we go in. Depending on how many people would be interested in that, I have a feeling my grandma, sister-in-law, and others would also be interested in playing babysitter too if we needed extra people to help out. They both have dogs of their own, so they'd love to play with our little guys! BUT...this is all assuming the museum thing even gets worked out since I haven't gotten anything set in stone yet.

I know I plan on BUGGING Hubby till he gets me my JEEP stroller for my two

then I will have a Great one so snappy Daisy will behaveLOL

LOL! I admit my privacy felt a bit invaded when she joined YT recently

, like you guys were all mine and I didn't want to share, but I guess I just talked all you guys up way too much because she wanted to see what it was all about - even though she doesn't have a Yorkie! Oh well...it's another way for us to be "connected" since we live 1700 miles apart

LOL I bet I live over 2100 miles from my mom and Family it is hard too. I really wish she would Join .

Maybe your mom will get a Yorkie Now

If someone would like to borrow one of my "carriers" I have several. Murfee is quite spoiled. I have one that is likea backpack but really is a front pack, I have one where all 4 feet are out and is like a baby carrier in the front and I have one that is all mesh but pulls llike a suitcase. Just let me know. I will probably use the one that is like a baby carrier but am flexible. Patty

I'd like to know too. The more I think about it the more I'm seriously considering going. The only tought thing would be deciding which furbaby to bring... Can't fly with 3 Yorkies!

oh this sounds like so much fun, I would love to meet everyone, but I don't fly for any reason lol scared to death of flying.... and thats a long drive from eastern pa. maybe next time it will be closer to me

yup i'm still working on it.. i have it narrowed down between two hotels but neither will get back to me about a banquet hall... so i have to call them but i've been so busy at work latley i just haven't gotten there.... but it will be in Kansas City MO, at one of two hotels in the County Club Plaza.... take a look at it online.. looks like TONS to do in the evening or days before/after. i promise i wil have more soon as soon as things die down a bit.. so sorry to keep you all waiting!

Yep! I know Marci is still working hard on it, and as soon as she gets a hotel nailed down, I'll be able to nail down the leads I have on some vendors to attend our meet-up, as well as dog-friendly activities we can do before/after the meet-up activities within the hotel. Like Marci said, the KC Plaza is a wonderful area with tons of stores and over half of them are dog-friendly (maybe even more when they see how small our babies are). KC is known as the "City of Fountains", and several of them can be found on the Plaza. It's a nice area to walk around, even if you aren't interested in shopping. It's one of the nicest areas in Kansas City! We'll be very lucky if Marci can get a hotel worked out for us in that area!!!
