I'm missing my little girl  Hannah went this morning for her surgery. I was in tears. She is 5 months old and 3 lbs. She is our little girl.. we just love her .. I wouldn't know what me and my husband would do without her. I was so scared this morning. I called the vet at noon to check on her.. she was sleeping, the surgery went great.. she had her elephant and blanket with a hot water bottle.. she was comfortable. I called again at 3 this afternoon to check again. My heart has been up in my throat all day. She was still good. Sleeping . But happy. I can't pick her up until morning. The house is empty. No kisses. No little feet following me around under my feet . How am I going to get any sleep tonight ? Hannah ,, mommy and daddy love you . Can't wait for morning..

Thank you all for the kind words.. I know morning will get here fast enough and she will be so happy to see us. The vet told me on the phone that she had never seen a uterus as small as Hannah's in any dog. I wonder if we had of bred her , if she would of only had one pup ? Oh well. Were happy that we had her spayed. I would never be able to sell any of the pups anyways. lol Thanks again everyone. Really helps to read this from you all. Jen

Hannah is so cute, she looks like a teddy bear. I know how you feel, I had to take a sleeping pill the night Autumn was spayed because I knew I would not be able to sleep knowing she was not w/me.

| You have such a little cutie pie! I know how relieved you are that the surgery is over. I left Lucy overnight when she was spayed and I felt it was best for her to be monitored overnight before I picked her up. I know she'll be thrilled to be home with you tomorrow.

What a long night it was.. woke up at 4am.. tossed and turned.. and to wait till 9 am to pick her up was like waiting for a month to pass. She was so excited to see us. She has eaten and drank, and now she is sleeping. Only thing hard to do is to stop her from jumping.. have to lay on the floor with her so she stays down when she wants to see you..lol. I'm so glad its over. Thanks everyone for your comments.. yes .. she is so cute.. and the vet said that she is now 4 lbs.. and that she probley won't get much bigger. Thanks again.. Jen
