Is Marcel out of the Durrer Bloodlines?? I just went to that web site that you mentioned and noticed that this breeder has alot of Durrer show dogs on her site. My Tatum's daddy is full Durrer and her mom is one half Durrer - which makes Tatum 3/4 Durrer. Of course, it is an EXCELLENT Bloodline...and since your Marcel and my Tatum look SO much alike, I was just wondering if he too had Durrer lines in him??? You can PM me if you'd like

| Noo you have to train him to stop now. Eventually when he gets older, he's not going to respond to your commands (and it will hurt way more when he bites) and it will be really difficult to train him to stop. You need to train him that this is inappropriate behavior using the methods others suggested while he is still young. |

| the squirt bottle and bowl thing work, but only when they are handy. I really like the suggestions given by an earlier poster (sorry forgot who) to say not, give toy, and get up off the floor. Also, give it time. This desire to play this way is really strong in a pup.

| He might be just in a puppy stage. Pepper went through it, around 4 months of age and it lasted for several months... From licking all over your face he went to pulling on hair, biting nose and ears - hard . I stopped playing with him while laying on the floor. Well, he outgrew it and now, when he can get hold of your face or head, he licks away. You can use maybe a water squirt when he does it?

| I am sure Tucker is just playing. My Gracie used to pull at my hair, especially when I had a pony with scrunchy. She does not do that anymore. Gracie used to also bite my fingers. Thank goodness she stopped that also. Good luck! Sorry, but I just had to giggle ready your post. Heather-Mamma to Gracie and Hallee |

| Thanks for the continued advice...this was like a month and a half ago and I was very emotional already due to the sudden loss of my 19-year-old cousin so I was overreacting a bit I think. Everything's "good in the 'hood" now and Tucker is the furlove of my life.
