Milo gets his man-cookies tosssed today..... and will also be micro-chipped. I am nervous but glad that the norm is in for the morn and out by evening at my vets. We ordered him something manly and special to compensate for the loss of his man-cookies and will have a photo shoot later in the week to show it and the some other WAY cool custom pieces we've had done by Sonja. (She is amazing!) Meanwhile he will be recovering in his new nightshirt from G0-Fetch---love these Des! Please keep Milo in your thoughts today and say a fond farewell to his tiny bits. I am thankful that he gained some padding on his lil bones the past week so hopefully this will aide in a speedy bounce back. Off to drop him off and then do errands to occupy my mind--- be back soon to pace the day away. LOL

I hope Milo did well with his surgery today. How old is he by the way? I'm glad your vet will let him go home same day. So much less stressful for you both

Milo did fantastic! He was his wiggly self when they brought him out to us. One thing I wasn't prepared for--- they shaved both his front legs on the longest bone, for the IVs, leaving him with fluffy slipper feet and fluffy shoulders. He looks like he was groomed like a toy poodle. He is moving just fine today and eating but sleeping a lot. He slept in till 9AM and is napping the day away. Which is fine by me---I celebrated his fine outcome a little too heartily last night. Oh-- Milo is 6 1/2 months old.

Hi Dawn . . .am glad all went well with Milo. And since it is just hair, don't worry it'll grow back. Was wanting to have Annika microchipped while at the fair but Jodie and I got pretty busy attending to customers we completely forgot the time Tiger and Annika send him warm hugs. I finally cut all 4 harnesses last night and will be finishing up your order I hope he hasn't grown since this order is taking too long already

They shaved Marcel recently for IV during giardia - 2 fronts and 1 back leg. He looks like a sheep w/ stick legs.

First of all I am so glad to hear that little Milo is going GREAT! Please give that baby a hug for me! Surgery is so very stressful.... Did you happen to get Milo some....NeuticlesNATURAL® -- here is a link to the website -- very reasonably priced -- only $144.00 each for the petite size and if you want to "beef him up" a bit you could go with a larger size. Geez.... you wouldn't believe all of the options regarding fake testicles for dogs * cats * horses * and bulls .....http://www.neuticles.com/index1.html I thought you might like to see a pic -- visuals are GREAT! sometimes | |
