| How much to feed? How much and how often should you feed a puppy of 10 weeks? The breeder we got him from fed him 2 kinds of dry food, & Science Diet Oral care all day and then gave him Ceasers twice a day. It seems like a lot of food... (Maybe that is why he is such a big puppy (3.4 lbs at 10 weeks )). What do you suggest? |

| I think I read that for the first few months puppies should free-feed, or be fed up to four small meals a day, working down to three and then two. Oscar is seven months now, and for the past month I've been feeding him 1/3 cup of Royal Canin morning and night. He's doing well on that schedule. That dog would eat all the time if he could! |

| It normally says on the foodpack how much to feed them. But around 45-65 grams once a day or 25-35 twice a day is normal for a yorkie baby around 900 grams. Put a teaspoon of youghurt natural in it's food twice a week for digestion. And then a fishhead twice a week and a itty-bitty treat when it poops or pees outside. Chewing bones of ox hide - no limit. Remember to get puppy food that is not so small - the dog has to use it's teeth to stay healthy and "pebblefood" doesn't give them that option.
