| Frontline: How often?? So one of my yorkies keeps getting fleas and they freak me out. I'm thinking that she is getting them on her daily walk because a lot of other dogs are on the same route. I find it odd that she seems to get them more often than my other yorkie being that they both go on the same walk. Anyway, is it bad to use Frontline often? The box says once a month so is it safe to use it 12 times a year? I do not use it every month because I was afraid it might harm her.

| I dose my dogs every month. It hasn't seemed to bother them. I mark it on the calendar like I do the heartworm medication, they take that all year also. The last day of the month is heartworms, the 7th of every month is Frontline. . .

| I give Max his frontline and Heartguard on the same day each month. Do you think that's too much for one day?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | morgan gets her frontline and interceptor on the same day each month as well. She's 4 pounds and having both meds together do not have any ill effects on her, nor most dogs. frontline can be given once a month. In areas where fleas aren't a huge problem you can give it once every two months. I do that sometimes, depending on the how bad the flea season is.

| The box says every 4-6 weeks. I would not give it any more often than that.

| I don't think one dose is enough for 3 months. Google it and see what you find, or ask your vet or petstore. I use it once/month from April through October, maybe November. The winters here are too cold foe ticks ande fleas.

| I've never used any flea meds on Buttercup and I have never seen a single flea on him. He rarely goes outside to play. The only times are for pottying or going to the park and the pet stores. He gets his exercise while I get my exercise, in my husband's gym. |
