| Urgent Warning Hi There I am new member of your group. I am a small Canadian Kennel Club breeder. I have been breeding for six years and love my dogs. We are located in Ontario, Canada. We have no children and our dogs are our babies. I have a terrible problem with a breeder and I want to warn you all of Leo & Deana of Prestigeous Yorkies. We purchased a show/breeder from them last year for $3,250. US dollars. When we received him, he had been incorrectly vacinated, had no identifying mark, and looked worse than a pet. We complained to them and they promised us another dog. They said it would be awhile as they had nothing available currently. When I wrote back to them six months later they completely denied the promise. By this time the dog had a deformed back end, roached back and cannot hold his head still and we told them that not only is this dog not show quality, but that he was not of breed quality. In so many words they told us too bad, that they were not replacing him. My vet says that he has grade 4 patellas, his knee caps are out of the socket, and requires surgery of 2,000. Again, I sent this on to Prestigeous and they said they don't cover patellas. I don't how the rest of this group feels but I feel this is very wrong and would advise no one purchase even a pet from these people as it is now very clear to me that they are not ethical breeders. I now understand why they have so many puppies die and Cavaliers with PDA. Stay away least you get ripped off. If you would like to contact personally for more info please feel free to.
