My husband and I decided after the kids were grown to not have anymore pets of any kind. After I retired from working after 30 years to care for him since he had cancer, I wanted something more and researched the web for small dogs. I found out about yorkies. I had put some pictures on the computer and some breeders that I thought would be good for my area. I will never forget the night he came in and looked over my shoulder. Sure enough, I was looking at a breeder website, with beautiful "spoken for" yorkies. He said, I guess you are going to get a dog since I know you, be sure it's one of these, they are so cute. My precious husband died 1 1/2 years ago with our two yorkies on his lap and our family (kids) and me surrounding him. What a memory! Do it.
