Just a quick question! Hey everyone!!! My little boy just lost a tooth!! Well actually, he lost it last night!! I actually found it and was sooo- excited. I do have a quick question though. Tonight my mom came down to spend the weekend and she let him have his weekend greenie. As he was chewing on it, I noticed little patches of blood on my couch.....I didn't know if it was normal for him to still be bleeding or if maybe he could have lost another tooth while chewing on the greenie. Is it normal for him to still be losing teeth at six months??? Thanks everyone!! Jen & Romeo

Hi! Isn't it exciting when you find a tooth! I wouldn't worry about the blood. If it continues over the next several days then you might want to call the vet. When Oscar was teething I noticed blood a couple of times, but it took care of itself. It's very possible he lost more teeth on the greenie. Oscar lost one that way and I never found it. He also lost a couple when I was brushing his teeth.

Yes, they can lose their baby teeth at that age. Congrats on finding their little toothie, they are so little it can be hard to find... We keep all of our Yoda's little teeth we found.

My yorkie was 11 months old before he lost his last tooth, so yes six months is definitely normal. We also kept all his baby teeth that we found!
