| ![]() Does your yorkie chew really hard? I give him this chew toys shaped like keys and he literally chews the plastic off and it ends up in his mouth!!! It concerns me because when I see him chewing on it, it seems like he is going to break his teeth. I gave him a nylabone dental chew and he chewed off the little ridges on it. Its almost like hes being destructive! What do you think?

| ![]() Jake does chew really hard, but he hasn't destroyed any of his toys. I don't give him anything made of plastic because I'm afraid he'll chew it and swallow it. How old is your baby? Have you tried nylabones, bully sticks or flossies? BTW, the picture in your avatar is beautiful! |

| ![]() Sukoshi is quite the chewer...but only on her own toys...never on anything she's not supposed to chew (that could be because she has enough of her own toys to fill a Toys R Us store for puppies), and she doesn't seem that destructive about it, except for when it comes to the things that I expect her to destroy...meaning her Nylabone Nutri Dent chews and her Puppy Ziggies. She does eat those down to nothing, but they're both all natural and fully digestible, so I think it's ok that she's eating them all gone. On the other hand, I'd just be sure to not give your baby any rawhides or things like that (i.e. plastic), which are not digestible and would be bad if he swallowed it. Bully sticks seems to be a popular item for chewing, although I haven't tried them for Sukoshi yet. |
