| Tail Docking For Morkies??? My maltese had her first litter of puppies this morning. We bred her with yorkie. 4 beautiful puppies. Anyway the question is to have their tails docked or not. What do most prefer for this mix? |

| Thanks. I like the long tails but then someone mentioned docking them and I wasn't sure. Think I'm headed for bed didn't get much sleep last night. She finally started having them at 5:30 am. |

| I think either way would be wonderful...whatever your preference is really...I would think most buyers would like docked tails even though both my babies have long tails...who knows lol.. Dawn |

| You have beautiful babies. What a joy. You asked a good question about the tails. I think they'll have pretty tails like their momma. I have a Yorkie with a tail and 2 without.

| I have a preference for docked, because I think the original tails are kind of TOO long and look a little unproportionate. You can get them docked more in the middle of the tail, so the tails won't be as long but won't be complete stubs, I think. |

| I'm not sure what the overall preference would be for a morkie, but I like the docked tails personally. |

| All the morkies I have seen I were all with undocked tails and they looked so cute that way because their tail would curl up like a maltese.

| My pup is mixed and I get lots of comments on how pretty his tail is. Either way you go, I am sure they are going to be just adorable.
