OHMYGOD Puppyelite.com I have to share this story...I just got a phone call from a family asking for help and advice...they bought a pup through puppyelite.com, paid through paypal $2000 for a bulldog puppy. It was to arrive 6 days ago, this couple goes to the airport, opens the crate and what do they find but a little yorkie female puppy. The shipping papers said bulldog yet all the papers sent by the breeder said yorkshire terrier. The client refused the pup and asked for it to be shipping back to the breeder. She contacted the breeder immediately, no response through phone call after phone call and email after email...Delta also contacted them leaving messages the puppy had been returned to JFK and to pick it up! He refused to pick it up and left it at the airport for now 5 days. The breeder finally got in contact with the family once they threatened legal action. He responded merely by saying he will give them a bull dog puppy from his next litter, he didnt have one to ship them right now. This poor little yorkie pup has been sitting at the airport, the family knows nothing about yorkies nor about this pup, her age, health or anything. The family finally told Delta to ship her back and they would keep her. They are so upset she has been crying for 5 days and at her wits end. She will be shipping back to Portland tomorrow.............. I am so damn angry I could spit bullets!!! Please beware buying from place puppyelite.com his name is Steve. She is contacting an attorney as well as USDA, AKC, BBB, Attorney general, Humane Society and anything else she can think of. Just wanted to vent grrrrrrrrrrrrr! |
OMG! This is horrible!! That poor puppy!!!! I hope she's okay when they pick her up! |
OMG! unbelievable  I am so sorry for the family who had to go through this.I am really sorry for that little innocent pup that wasn't wanted on either side.we really have to be careful when buying animals off line.they have feelings too.they are irresponsible breeders.how could they just put this pup off on these people.I love yorkies and believe that they are the best and second to none but EVERYONE doesn't want a yorkie.these breeders should be shut down for their duplicity.:thumbdown |
Is this Puppy Elite located in Brooklyn? If so, I also got scammed by them, but he told me his name was David!! Stay far away from this place. BTW, he is NOT a breeder, he buys these dogs--he is a dog broker. Not only is he a dog broker, he is very unethical one! Do a search of my posts, I have made several posts in regards to Puppy Elite. |
This kind of stuff disgusts me. I feel bad for the people who didn't get their pug, but I feel really, really bad for the Yorkie who isn't wanted by anyone at this moment. Poor thing has been at the airport for 5 days! |
The poor puppy! What a terrible story. Sadly, I heard all kinds of horror stories like this when I was looking for Paddington. (I couldn't find a breeder close to me, so I had to find one via the internet... I was so worried, but because I was cautious I got a really good puppy from a really good breeder!) It's terrible because people are using these living creatures as tools to scam very loving families... all they want is money, and they don't care who it hurts. My heart breaks for the poor puppy as well as the family. Paddington was so scared after being shipped on a flight that was only a few hours, I can't imagine the fright of this poor little puppy being shipped over and over again, and then being left alone for days! I'm angry too!!!!!! -O |
OMG!!!!!!! Omg, omg, omg...this kind of stuff FURIATES me to NO END!!!   HOW...just tell me HOW someone can do this crap!!! Forget screwing someone out of the wrong dog (I mean that is HORRIBLE and it's bad enough) but LEAVING THE PUPPY AT THE AIRPORT??? And not even CARING to go and pick the poor little thing up!?!?? OMG!!! Ok...I should not have even read this thread because now I am just steaming mad!!!   That poor little baby, and those poor people! |
Okay, my heart is broken for the unwanted little yorkie...this stinks of con... |
 That poor little yorkie puppy, just left at the airport like that! |
Poor Baby Quote:
 |
I'm about an hour from JFK.....did somebody go get that puppy? If not....I will! |
Poor baby, makes me want to take her and show her what love is. Is is not being neglected until the mix-up could be worked out. I am as angry with the breeder as I am with the buyer. |
wish i could put him in a crate and leave him in an airport for 5 days!!! How heartless!!! truly unbelievable!!! |
I hope someone is feeding and taking care of the poor Yorkie ... such a shame that people have no conscience ... Not only did the pup have to endure the 5 hour flight from Portland, but he had to endure these 5+ days at the airport. So sad ... |
I agree with Grace2006, Shame shame on both, how could anyone just leave that poor baby at the airport. So what if the pug (or whatever dog they ordered) was not correct....beware of some buyers also. |
That poor Yorkie had to go from JFK to Portland, Portland to JFK, sit at JFK for 5 days, and now she's going BACK to Portland tomorrow?!?!? OMG! This makes me furious    !!!!!!!!!!! On one hand, it's good that the family has finally agreed to take her so she can start receiving some love and attention, but at the same time, they obviously wanted a bulldog (why else would they have sent her BACK after seeing she was the wrong breed), so why are they settling for a Yorkie now?!?! Of course, all of us on YT would say they got the better end of the deal, but if they wanted a bull dog, they wanted a bull dog, and I hope to God they love that Yorkie as much as they would've loved the bull dog they originally wanted. How sad! And I hape they get some justice for what that breeder/broker did! |
So is there someone out there who was expecting a yorkie and got a bulldog? |

Although I dont know the buyer (as I said he husband called for advice) how were they to know the seller wouldnt honor their contract, send the right dog, not pick up the puppy on the return flight. They contacted the seller as soon as they got to the airport leaving messages of their mistake which obviously IT WASNT merely a shipping mistake...HE had no bulldogs! |
OMG I hope the little yorkie is ok thru all of this...Its awful for a poor innocent puppy to have to sit for 5 days at an airport in limbo. What a horrible story, it hurts my heart just thinking of the poor baby. |
I wouldn't mind adopting the poor yorkie baby... |
Its strange because on the website, it says he has several 2 month old bulldogs available... |
OMG!!!!! that stupid man .. i would definitely like to call him something worse. If you friend doesn't want the yorkie, I will gladly take her! ;) the poor baby! i'll even fly from taiwan to get her! i just breaks my heart how alone she must have been at the airport!!! :( pleae keep us updated on how the lil one is doing. :( |
Please let us know how this turns out. |
Oh MAN ! why would someone LEAVE that poor little thing at the airport ? That makes me sick - the puppy is the one suffering over someones stupid mistake and I hope she is going to be ok ...I hope they can take action over that JERK of a breeder and WIN ! He doesn't deserve to have any dogs if that's how little he cares about them...that's just plain wrong. |
Too add to my above post - the people who wanted the bulldog should also hit the internet with their story- there are some breed specific boards just like this one and you should put a post in the review section here - these reviews DO come up on Google....the more talk about what these people did the better informed people will be ...with so many people using the net it's a great tool And ALL THE BEST TO THAT LITTLE yorkie girl - she must be terrified :( |
that poor baby!! how can people be so cruel to something so innocent. as my grandmother used to say "they should both be shot as sunrise!!" the little girl must be out of her mind with fear.:( |
:yeahthat: I feel so sorry for the puppy. You know he had to be scared to death. Only to be refused and sent back and then to end up at the same place. I understand they didn't want a Yorkie and that is ok. I just don't think they should have refused him. It would have been better on the puppy to take him home and then call the breeder and go from there. I am shocked that the puppy even made it back alive. |
I'm not saying I wouldn't of kept the puppy because i love puppies. But i believe in order to recoup on an error made by the seller you have to refuse the product at delivery in order to have any chance of recouping your payment. I know a puppy isn't a product, but had they kept it they would of had no chance in getting there money back or the correct puppy. The only person to blame in this is the breeder. They should of sent the right puppy in the first place & picked up the puppy when it was returned; obviously this A-hole could care less about the well being of these animals. |

In addition to the internet, they should contact the NEWS!! I\'d call every radio station and news channel and get them to do a story on it!! I\'d SHAME Puppy Elite for what they did! And the worst part of all this is ... no one wants that little Yorkie girl. It\'s not that family\'s fault ... they wanted a Bulldog and were promised one but were deceived. I just feel so sorry for that little girl. :( :( I can\'t belive that a$$ hole left her at the airport for FIVE days!!!  |
5 days at the airport OMG poor baby girl. |
