I think people have to stop buying from these places so they can go out of business. It is so sad to hear things like that. I hope there will be a very happy ending and that someone will love that poor puppy! Puppy Elite should be so ashamed of themselves. I believe in Karma they will get what they deserve!!!:thumbdown

Boy I hope this story has a happy ending...I can't stand the thought of that puppy being all alone all this time. I am hoping she gets all the love and attention she needs at this young age, what did the people at JFK do with her...maybe I don't really want to know...Please don't tell me she was all alone, stuck in a kennel or whatever. I would be sure the so called breeder pays for this BIG TIME!!!

I senty puppyelite a nasty email. The sad thing is if people stop buying from that site because they get bad press they are just going to buy a new domain name and start a new site with the same bad practices. :(

I am too interested in the puppy,especially when I am too close to JFK. I will take the puppy. Why couldn't the family stay with the puppy.

My understanding is the family sent the puppy back and the BREEDER never went and picked him up at the airport. See post #18

sorry, but who the hell would buy a puppy from a website sight unseen? especially a website that uses stock photography in place of actual images?

dogs will keep suffering unless people wise up. this is tragic.

Thank goodness some people do or a lot of nice YT members wouldn't have ALL my babies right now!!!!!!!! but i know what you mean.

The family finally told Delta to ship her back and they would keep her. They are so upset she has been crying for 5 days and at her wits end. She will be shipping back to Portland tomorrow..............

I am so damn angry I could spit bullets!!! Please beware buying from place puppyelite.com his name is Steve.
She is contacting an attorney as well as USDA, AKC, BBB, Attorney general, Humane Society and anything else she can think of.

Just wanted to vent grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

This is horrible!!! They should pass a law that animals cannot be sold by brookers/dealers or pet-stores!!! That poor poor puppy!:(

the little girl left JFK for Portland yesterday and was to be picked up last night at around 11:00pm, she is taking her to the vet today and call me after..I'll update when I can

I'm sick about this. I just don't understand how anyone can allow this kind of treatment toward any vulnerable creature. That poor, poor little baby. Am I understanding correctly that the bulldog buyer is taking the yorkie afterall?

That guy is a...well I can't put down what he is here. Its all about money isn't it! They guy probably didn't want to pay the return shipping so he refused to go get the puppy. Now do these friends have to pay it? That's two more flights!

I'm glad that the little thing will be in safe hands. I bet once they interact with it they will want to keep it. :angelyorkWho could refuse a cute little yorkie. Obviously they care about its well being already! But just in case, add my name to the list of people who will take it if they don't want it!

I've always been leary of the airport shipping situation anyway. I got Maxwell online, but I used my frequent flyer miles to fly from Virginia to Iowa to get him and carry him back myself. I cannot imagine leaving that poor baby at an airport for 5 days -- are there that many thoughtless people around!?

Poor little girl! That REALLY makes me sad. The poor pup was alone for 5 days!!! Who fed her?? If the family really don't want a yorkie then I think they should just rehome it to someone that does, that way the pup gets all the love and attention it needs

I wonder how this guy would feel being put in a crate for five days in a place he doesnt know and a baby and scared lets find him and do it i find a crate big enough
