But anyway he is really scrubby looking... we havent been able to give him a shower or bath because of his stitches. But my question is, know that his stitches are out can I give him a bath... or should i wait till his leg if fully healed!! Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Is he still in pain? If yes, I wouldn't bathe him yet. You could use some baby wipes to clean him up a bit.

| I didn't bath Phoebi or Chan till at least 5 weeks post-op. I was too scared of them slipping in the sink/tub. Chan was grungy but not too bad...Phoebi smelled like a "mackerel"...poor girl! If he's calm in the tub and you want to give it a try then go ahead. Just be extra careful.

i agree with Kim, and i'd wait to bathe him. You don't want him slipping or hurting himself.
