I suffered being told by doctors that I was just not going to have kids because I didn't ovulate every month so it made things nearly impossible. Well I did have 2 skin kids /girls, it just happened yrs later. My whole story was that I did NOT like animals, dogs, cats, birds not even fish. I always ,always had this thing about Yorkies. I don't know what it was but I used to say " If I had a Yorkie I know I would fall in love with it" My husband never believed me because we had dogs before but not a yorkie. One day he brought Cookie home ,I went through hell the first 3 months force feeding and he's always been finicky. Going through all that made such a huge bond between us that I will never be the same.I love him exactly like a real skinkid. I always tell my husband out of all the things that he has ever bought me the best gift has been Cookie :) Genie Cookie Lola Angel |

My yorkie mix and my pittie are my babies for now as I don't have any skin kids yet. Im hoping eventually I will get married and have some babies, but even if I do my two dogs will always be my first babies and my skin kids will be their brothers and sisters. |
Right now, my husband and I don't have any skin kids, but would like to have children in about 5 yrs or so. I'm still young and in no hurry at all. We want time for ourselves first to grow together :) Our yorkie is literally like a child to us. We got him shortly after we got married, and he was very sick when we got him. It took a lot to nurse him back to health, and he is just the most incredible furbaby that we could have ever imagined. He "talks" to us and really expresses himself. It's like he understands the things going on around him. Seriously, he means the world to us. He's like the perfect little guy!! Then, this past February, we added another little furbaby to our family, this time, a maltese. And she's also like a baby to us :) Everyone in our families always ask how our kids are doing :) LOL Of course, there are always those people that criticize and say that there must be something wrong with our marriage because we've been married for 3 yrs now and still don't have kids, but I just ignore them. We want to enjoy each other first. We'll have children when we're ready. It just gets annoying to hear that. But thankfully, our family is very supportive of us and our furbabies :) |

We always refer to them as "Our Girls" and people assume they are skin kids until we open our cell phones or brag book! The look on some of the faces are so funny - especially when they don't "get it". The Girls are definitely our babies! |
My sister teases me that I'm going to be known as the "Weird Dog Lady" by the time I'm 60! |

Child Free Here..my Girlfriend And I Treat Our Lil Angel Like Our Very Own Flesh And Blood.....she Is Amazing... |
It is chester and me no kids, and never will,he is treated better than most kids |
I got my 2 after my husband died. My 2 sons are grown (the youngest moved back in with me after Mark's death to "take care of me":) ) and my furbabies have made my life much better. |
No kids, and there is no question that Jaxon gets treated like our baby. We are both very busy with our careers and just not ready for children. Often people ask when we're having kids, and I just say we have our furbaby Jaxon and that's all we need. :) |
Our children are grown up and all live 8-12 hours away. We don't get to see them as much as we would like to. Shelby & Seymour are our "babies" now. |

I have three skin kids all married and on their own so I was left alone. Hence Buddy my new baby boy. He's like having a two year old always into something and keeping me young and on my toes:D I love spoiling him and cuddling with him. He listens to me yak and never says a thing! :p He understands me like no one else can. He's my man;) |
