| Dolce's Mom, I have terrible eyesight so I couldn't tell what parts of her little face are wet! When Toto was about that age her little eye area stayed wet, kinda like tearing all the time ... she just seemed to outgrow it ... she very, very seldom gets anything on her fur from her eyes now. When she was teething ... boy that was a mess ... she drooled like a maddog!! That went on until she had finished teething! I bought some "eye cleansing" clothes at PetSmart. They come in one of those little "pop up" thingy's like baby wipes. I would just kinda clean under her eyes and wipe her little face. The picture of little Dolce is a sweetheart!! Please post more!!

| Awww bettyeanne, you're so sweet!! You have no idea how relieved I am to hear that your baby had the same thing happen to her. I thought Dolce was the only one after looking at all the pics of the sweethearts on here with DRY faces.... Ok, so I am going to have to go to the store and get those wipes. They sound like a great idea. Everyone here has been so helpful in their ideas. I am trying them all!!! I will post more pics very soon I promise!!! |

| Thanks! Another thing I remembered about the teething ... we got some of those little finger toothbrushes for babies gums and would just sit and rub her little gums with it ... it seemed to help! I also kept absorbent things handy for wiping drool! I can't imagine anything else that would cause her little face to be so wet! Keep us updated ... can't wait to see more pics!

| I like the tip about the finger toothbrush, thanks! Little Hercules is all about the biting right now. His face gets wet under his eyes, that's probably from his eyes tearing up though. I'll have to try those wipe cloths you were talking about too. |
