| i called the ER vet (its 2 1/2 hours away) but of course my baby is worth it they said to watch her closley if any swelling bring her in right away she is right now sitting on my lap making it very hard to type lol i dont see any swelling or feel anything she is not crying or anything just holding that little foot up my poor baby guess i wont sleep tonight i'm watching for swelling she is still the same little yapper gosh the barking this little girl does. It had to have been a hornet cuz when bees sting they die (i think) and this stupid thing flew right back out the door before i relized what happend. i'm not even sure excatly where it got her but sebastain is trying to make her feel better also he is "grooming" her behind the ears lol i really freaked when i looked on line about bee stings and i have heard before that they can be deadly but the vet said to just watch her so that is what my night is going to be now thanks for the replies and i will keep you posted. forgot to say she will be going to our vet first thing in the AM Rene Last edited by rene; 06-03-2005 at 06:22 PM. |

| Give her about 1/4 tsp. Children's Benadryl if you can. That will help her and make her sleepy.

| Do you have a pet emergency center near you? Take your baby in. I'm not sure how that can affect a little yorkie. Don't chance it. It is worth the cost!

| Sound like she is doing good, I think it must effect each dogs different and it probably scared her. When you get up in the morning she will be running around like nothing happened and you will be so tired from not sleeping.

| I'm glad that she is feeling better, I swear we are more hysterical over our little babies than our human ones! I was laughing over the incident about which flavor syrup to buy- I ordered multivitamin drops over the phone from vet store, and they asked what flavor, chocolate or caramel. I said chocolate. Five minutes later they called me back to say that they were out, if caramel is OK? I couldn't stop laughing, because here I am worrying about what flavor for my baby that eats her own poop... actually I asked if they had cat flavor (well, they have fish flavor for cats, why not cat flavor for dogs??) just kidding. Take care, Lisa |
