| Wow! Okay, as I'm reading this thread, I'm thinking there's no way on God's green earth we could ever compete.... so I round up all toys and put them in the basket to take a pic. Then I take them all out and put them on the floor and count them.... 42 No way! She's 5 pounds! What on earth does she need that many toys for?!? Talk about a shock... only about four of the toys were for the other dog! So, although we are definitely not the winner, 42 toys is no small number

Who can find the toys to count them--they are all over both levels of the house, in the yard, in boxes in the garage, and in the cars. Someone send me a GPS to find Dan. |

| I just counted the toys in the dog's toy basket and counted 45. Of course that doesn't count the several that are laying around the house, all the ones in Slades cage (he such a toy hog) and the ones in the closet that I keep stashed cause either they are really annoying or one that Schatzie loves and will fight with the other dogs for it. I'll have to pick them all up tomorrow and take a pic. With 4 dogs toys add up. Plus when I see a great deal its really hard to pass it up and I love the way they get excited when i bring a new toy in the house. |

| I just counted 65 toys. I haven't taken a picture of them yet, as they are still strewn about in different rooms. Wow, I didn't know they had THAT much! Yet, everytime I go to the toy store I want to buy them more. |

| No Longer a Member | Hey Amber, No fair stealing from the kids' toy chest to win this competition. Can your dogs REALLY have that many toys? LOL. BTW, how do they like that one with the bones on the rope? I see that one at Petsmart and have thought of getting it. I'll go check Chloe's, but I'm sure there's no where near that many LOL |

| No Longer a Member | Isn't it funny how when you get them out to count them, they start sniffin' in them. "Hey! I've already counted those, mom. Don't think I won't know if you take one!." I counted 37 (and that includes counting the squirrels in the tree toy as 4). |

| Ok if I count all their little tennis balls, there are 72 toys. If I don't count the tennis balls, there are 63. Here is the pictures! That's Jolie climbing her mountain of toys!

| I rounded up all the toys I could find- well except for the ones outside cause they are DIRTY and not coming inside my house. I'm sure there are a few I missed cause Schatzie loves to hide her favorites or any new ones so no one else can play with them. When I counted the ones I could find the total came to 95. When I included the balls it was 106. Now I know where all my money goes! I think I may go through them and donate some to the shelter. There is no reason that 4 dogs need over 100 toys and they only like a select few so the rest lay at the bottom of the basket. |

| Big Lots has such great deals on toys tha I find hard to pass it up when they have cute ones. Goodwill is also a great place, I find soft baby rattle and squeeky toys for 50 cents and bring them home and sanitize them and the puppy loves them even better than dog toys! The dogs are always so happy when they see i have a new toy. They never complain they dont like it like human kids do. |

| I think it's time for me to sort through them and take 75% of it to the shelter... Then I have an excuse to buy some more!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | While picking up last night, I decided to start counting. Lots of good it did as my interest in his toys only sparked Ozzie to start digging them out again! I lost track at 60 ... and this doesn't include his downstairs collection AND a "rotating supply" -- a plastic tub jammed full -- that is periodically brought in for variety. We also did the "unthinkable" on Sunday and actually THREW A TOY AWAY! It was an Isaac Mizrahi phone from Target that had seen much better days. Somehow, I don't think he'll miss it ... |
