Aww Tammy I'm sorry! I just googled pet ear piercing and I got that. It is very sad isn't it?

Lets all remember these furbabys of ours are DOGS! Yes we love them like a member of the family, BUT----They are DOGS!!!

I love my ("Yorkies") just the way they are!!!

My Mother Rescued a Chihuahua one time and she (the chi) had her ears pierced. not sur who did it but My mother took the earings out caseu she thought it was inhumane!

Would be cute but IMO I think that is for humans. But it would be cute.

Thank You!! I can't imagine doing this to my dog. I think to do this to a dog would be cruel.

Even a tatoo is pushing it in my opinion. Can you imagine how unhappy they would be. I don't even dress Diesel up. He is spoiled beyond belief and he LOVES playing in the dirt and roughing it. No offense to those here who like to dress their Yorkies up. LOL It just isn't something that I want to do.

I seen a rott with a big diamond stud in one ear once. Hannah doesn't even like having a ponytail in, she is rubbing her head on the ground and trying to get it out-which she does, so I think that would be so uncomfortable for them. I think that you would be digging through poop to find the earrings everyday.....

They should just stick to piercing their OWN ears or nose or nipple...whatever floats their boat - but why put a dog thru that ???? The dog has no say in the matter and it's just cruel

JMO......NOPE, wouldn't do it! Too much to maintain the ear area of yorkies, they do scratch their ears (just the thought of ripping the ear ring out gives me the willies). If they have a playmate, I only see a dangerous situation happening with that...........so NO, I wouldn't even consider it!

Okay that is just cruel and insane. Pierce your own ear, nipple, tongue or anything else but why would we do this to your dog. I think those people have gone completely overboard and should be ashamed of themselves.

i was just going to post that, i definalty never would pierce my dogs ears, firstly because its unessecary (spelling :S) can get ripped out infected, tangled with hair...

Yes, and my reply was just an answer. As to why people dress their dogs up...I don't know... Whether people want to admit it or not our Yorkies are just dogs...how we treat them after that makes them our babies and family members.
