Not my Rowdy - he was the runt and we took him back over to the breeder when he was a year old and she said he was the smallest of all her Yorkie puppies that she knew of. Of course, it is possible that there was another that was the same or smaller when grown, but she seemed amazed at how small he was.

Yes, SOMETIMES the runt will grow bigger then the rest of the litter but not always. Why?? Genetics maybe

I think she is precious! She has such a pretty face...ears are big but I think it just adds to her cuteness. You can almost see her personality in those pictures!

I am soo very sorry about the loss of your baby.

I hope this girl helps to heal your heart.

It's so hard to know what they'll look like when they get older, but she's precious now! I love her big ears!

Y'all have been so great...thank you very much! Yesterday was my toughest day losing Lexi, I didn't know the little pup long but I've waited soooo very long to get a dog and she was just perfect, born on me and my husbands anniversary and everything!

I'm going to give it a few weeks until she's a little older and hopefully by then I'll stop comparing her to Lexi. I do have a good feeling about her though.

Heather...I'm so sorry for the loss of Lexi....and wishing you the best with your new puppy. That's so sad....I fell in love from the day I brought mine home and can't imagine losing either of them....my condolences

I don't think I said 'Most times". I said the runt often ends up the largest of the litter. At least I think that's what I said

Sorry to hear of your loss. I would think there would be some sign of what she died from. Be sure not to repeat this by taking another one home so young.
