|  Help! Advice Needed! My yorkie has been in heat for about close to two weeks now..I've just realized that not only are her nipples bigger but she has breasts. Is this the result of her being in heat. I've never had a small dog so don't really know what to expect. I'm scared. Since she has been in heat, we've kept her leashed each time we took her outside to use the bathroom. So I'm not sure if someone accidentally let her out unsupervised or if I'm just freaking out!!!! | so the breasts [not just the nipples] swellin up a bit is normal for yorkies during heat season? i'm still learning how to use yorkietalk...but thanks for replying to my post, thought maybe i did it wrong  |

| It's also not uncommon for a yorkie to have false pregnancies during their first couple of heats. My Mylan did her first two heats. She even got fat!  We freaked, took her to the vet and learned that she was not pregnant at all. She looked pregnant for over a month. And then everything went back to normal.
