| Mia's Coat Hello I just have a quick question about my 4 month old puppy. Lately I realized her coat from her head to the first half of her back is silky and the other half of her coat from the center of her back is puffy it wont go down. Is this normal in her transition period? It looks funny and I have never seen this before.I will try to attach a picture to show exactly what I am trying to say.

| Has she been to the groomer yet? She's so young, but maybe she needs a trim of her puppy hair.

| She probably just needs to have some of her puppy hair trimmed. Jake's hair got kinda unmanageable so we trimmed it, and now it's all coming in silky. |

| Thank you! I never thought about trimming her yet. I will take her to the groomer to see what they can do for her.

| what have I done? My yorkie had the puffy look, too. I just today got back from Maxwell's first groomer visit. They said he was a maniac. Now he looks like a schnauzer. sigh...I researched where to go, I don't like to go where they are smoking - or leave them on the table while they get the phone. I thought he would be a good groomer. Could my dog actually be a maniac? He too, was puffy, now he is, well, laughable. We still adore him. But why is it so hard to find the right groomer? |
