Yes, I do think that is rude.

Seems like older people totally speak whats on their mind. Even my grandma does it... But I love her. She's told me my female is ugly because her features are bigger than my males, and she LOVES him... I just laugh and tell her I think she's gorgeous! I know she don't mean anything by it, and come on it's gramma, I LOVE HER!

Although, I'm not sure how I would react to a total stranger saying this, since I speak my mind too much as it is....

Come to think of it, I know a few old hags like this that go to church with me (that sounds bad!), but they are truely mean!

Wow, I can't believe that someone actually said your dogs name was stupid? For real? That is so mean, what is with people, plus I didn't hear you say you asked her opinion?!!! All I can say is Autumn is a beautiful name. I just don't get it sometimes?!!!

Thanks...Izzie gets really mad when we put hoodies on her...she doesn't move, so we found the perfect photo op for Easter!

To each their own....I personally love the name Autumn Star. The lady was very rude though but you have to ignore rude comments, no sense in ruinning your day. Don't let it affect you. You love your Yorkie and you love the name, that is what is important. It doesn't matter what a stranger thinks. What did the lady say after what your husband said? It was a good come back. I have been told that my Yorkie reminds my sister in law of her childhood guinea pig. hahaha.....Oh, well! I still love my Murph, Murph!!! Have a great day.
