| Of course not! Nope, if you're able to get another baby..get him/her! At least we know he/she will be in a loving home. |

| Well to be quite honest sometimes I think we all need shrinks 'cause of the way we feel about our babies and all the money we spend on them and that they are our very lives...but I would be all for another puppy. You go girl |

| I have wondered that about myself. I have 4 dogs and a cat, and like you mine all get the royal treatment, I have a maltese, yorkie, golden and lab. I was really debating on getting another yorkie, but I have decided not to at this time..... . I thought my family would have me commited... |

| I think I would be asking myself the same question. I wonder if collecting dogs or cats is an illness like eating too much or not enough. Yes, maybe you should talk to someone about this. It could be that your trying to fill a void that's missing in your life. Some people overdue working, collecting of animals and so on to keep themselves so busy that they have no time for themselves. You may want to seriously consider getting some help. I don't mean that in a mean way or to imply your sick, I'm just saying you may need to find out what's causing your need to loose yourself. Good luck to you. |

If you can afford it all, and by afford I mean enough money, time, and love to go around, then why not? I'd just like to know... what do you do?! I'd love to have a job that would allow me enough time and money for such a big fur family!

BANNED! | It does sound like you have a very busy schedule already. I would say if your able to handle more and are willing to provide proper care and love for another member of the family then go for it!! As long as no one else suffers when you take on more responsibilities then I wouldn't worry about it. On the other hand if taking on another pet causes your daughter to lose mommie time or causes the other pets in the home to lose out on proper care or mommie time then I surely would think seeing a therapist might be in order. |

| Lots of people have six dogs...Breeders many times have six dogs because they end up keeping puppies, etc.. If you can properly care for them, I don't think there's anything wrong with you.

| Wow, I wish I was one of your dogs! It sounds like you are the perfect dog mommy and I think they are very lucky to be in such a loving home. I think alot of us are told by friends and family that we need a shrink. I have my 3 Yorkies and a new one coming on Wednesday that I have not even told some of my family about for fear that they will think I have gone off the deep end! LOL!! My fiance comments on how much time I spend on YT, but I honestly feel a connection with all of you that I do not have with anyone else...almost like we are a big family here at YT. I am like you, I spoil my babies, weekly baths, Royal Canin food, bottled water, fresh turkey from the deli for treats, plenty of toys, beds and blankets, and an unlimited supply of unconditional love. So I guess you know what my answer is...if you want a Maltese and obviously you can prvide her with a wonderful home then go for it!!!

| Nope I don't think you need a Shrink, but you need to have group Therapy with other yorkie people....just for reinforcement. What I've found, in the breeder/exhibitor world is not only do we have a common bond with our yorkies, we all compulsive obsessive personalities, and we are somewhat perfectionist.....Frankly, I don't see that as a problem......just a good outlet that other "NORMAL" (ha, ha, ha,) people see as disorders.
