| ![]() Maggie has done this many times. she has a crate that zips up...it is a mesh crate. I love it. But she has learned how to unzip it!!! she really isn't in it all that often but if we go out to eat, she goes in it since we can't take her with us. there have been 3 or 4 times now that I have come home to a loose doggie! She did this tonight. We have not found any accidents on the floor but she did get into my daughters laundry basket and had a field day with underwear ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Wow! Maggie is a smart girl! You should set up a video camera and leave for a little bit so you can watch how she does it lol |

| ![]() Cute! My boy has the same crate (did you get yours from Target, too?) and he made the mistake of escaping while I was in the room. I zipped it to the top and he simply scratched at the zippers until he pulled one down enough to wiggle out. It has 2 zippers so I originally started tying the 2 pulls together. Just a simple ribbon or string through the holes to keep them connected, so he can scratch all he wants but when they move together it doesn't open. Lately I've just been zipping it to the bottom and no escaping! I'm sure if he tried hard enough he could scratch sideways and open it, but if he manages that I'll just go back to tying the pulls. Good luck ![]()

yep, that is what she does. i will try zipping to the bottom and see if that helps. i don't know where hubby got it, he just came home with it one day as a surprise. i didn't like keeping her in that old wire crate, felt bad for her ![]() ![]() here is a pic of her in it after her very first hair cut...

yeah...she doesn't get in trouble much...but she really is a very good dog. She usually only gets in trouble when she drags tp all over the house or doesn't listen when I call her in from outside. stubborn little thing likes to pretend she can't hear LOL

| ![]() That is so funny. She is laughing at you when she is out roaming free in the house. I once had a half great dane/Shepard mix that use to brake out of the crate. We had to start putting a lock on it because when he got out he would eat EVERYTHING!!!! ![]() |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | ![]() Jack does the same thing! The first two or three times it happened, I thought I'd left it unzipped. But it kept happening. He has since proven himself as a true Harry Houdini, including his most famous escape, the over-the-grocery-bags, behind-the-refrigerator, past-the-mouse-trap escape from the kitchen. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69422
