Oh...she is just darling and looks so terrified. Take her and show all the love that this little one so deserves. My girl is 4.5 lbs, she is a good size and healthy. God willing she will remain that way, but none of us know, do we. I take every minute I have with Zhoie and cherish it!

So sorry, for the loss of your little Precious...she was very beautiful.

I am so so sorry for your loss of Katie but I am so glad she was able to have you and your wife as such wonderful, responsible parents. I just read though this thread and didn't know how old it was, read your posts, loving your updates and then saw that Little Katie passed on the 14th. I cried :( She was blessed to have you and your wife and it seemed like she had a wonderful life. Thank you for being such caring, amazing parents and loving Katie and giving her a second chance- God bless you for that- I'm sure she and Precious are at the Rainbow Bridge together. You and your family, including your other furbaby are in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

Not eating
 
I have a tiny, tiny, Yorkie. She weighed 1.6 at the vet! I will have had her one week tomorrow. The breeder said she should get to 6 pounds. I cannot get her to eat a thing. The vet put her on nutrical and syringe feeding, but she will not eat anything on her own. Is there hope for this little girl?

Welcome to YT!!!! You should post this question in the health section- this is someone else's post- you will get answers there :) Start a new thread at the top of the section and I'm sure you will get a lot of answers

I am so glad you gave Katie a very happy three years. It's always hard taking in an older pup, but I'm sure she showed her appreciation for your kindness in many ways. Take care and know that for all of us that love these little Yorkies, we appreciate everything you did for Katie!

OMG she looks exactly like my little Jean. She is also 3 Lbrs and 15 months old. She has no health issues but we are always careful not to step on her as she loves to run around our feet.
You should get her as soon as possible. The shelter is no place for her. By the way I forgot to mention that you should also be careful of the temperature. So little Yorkies are getting cold much easier than bigger ones.
I hope in a couple of days you will post a picture of her in your home

You did a wonderful thing adopting Katie. You gave her over 3 happy years. She went to Rainbow Bridge knowing just how loved she was.
I am so sorry for your loss. Just know that Katie will be happy with all the other little ones at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry you lost your little Katie. You gave her the best life she could have had and set her free to wait on Rainbow Bridge to one day be able to kiss you once again. Your are such a special couple, if only all dog owners could treat their pets as well as you have.

She's precious. Hope you get her...if her parents aren't frantically looking for her. She doesn't look too small to me. From what I've seen she looks about the standard Yorkie size. Very cute!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Katie. Your family was so good to her during these last few years of her life. I am sure she felt very loved and wanted by you and your family.

Keep those happy memories in your hearts forever of the past few years you have had Katie. I am sure your other yorkie is missing her also.
